How thick is normal nose hair?

they are slightly less thick than head hair

How thick is normal nose hair?

it's so funny how many questions one can ask about nose hair. it's so relaxing to answer it.

I have no idea what to do with my curly hair! and its THICK too.?

its brown and a bit past my shoulders. i can straighten it but it takes 1 1/2 hours!!! what should i do with it???

I have no idea what to do with my curly hair! and its THICK too.?

i would say try to enhance its curliness instead of trying to straighten it cuz that would just make it all poofy...trust me i've worked with my naturally poofy hair wayyy too much. All I do is wash my hair then condition it, put in a good moisturizer like Neutrogena triple moisture, then scrunch it with a LITTLE bit of gel. My hair is frizz free for the rest of the day!

I have no idea what to do with my curly hair! and its THICK too.?

I have the same problem. Go to any beauty shop that carries Biolage products and buy their curl defining oil. It only takes a little bit but will take out the frizzies and the pouffy leaving you with beautiful curls all day long. You can also try Pantene curl defining oil from Wal Mart but Biolage works best. Good luck.

How do cat's whiskers get tapered? They grow from the skin like hair, but they are thick at the

When a cat's whiskers are cut, they are thick at the cut ends, but as they grow out they get thinner. How does that work if they only grow from inside the skin?

How do cat's whiskers get tapered? They grow from the skin like hair, but they are thick at the bottom.?

I'm assuming its similar to hair. Please do not cut kittys whiskers. These are needed for seeing at night and for balance. It allows them to get a prospective of what is around them and how much distance certain objects are located.

How do cat's whiskers get tapered? They grow from the skin like hair, but they are thick at the bottom.?

maybe the hairdresser did something on it's whiskers? lol

How do cat's whiskers get tapered? They grow from the skin like hair, but they are thick at the bottom.?

Same as with their claws, man. The outer part sloughs off over time.

How do cat's whiskers get tapered? They grow from the skin like hair, but they are thick at the bottom.?

Why do you cut your cat's whiskers anyway?

Is there anything to make hair less thicker without shaving or waxing or laser removal?

i'm a guy with thick hair leg and i want to shave it but i'm afraid its going to grow back thicker or the same. i want hair leg just not as thick

Is there anything to make hair less thicker without shaving or waxing or laser removal?

Yes, there are special shampoos that can help thin your hair!!

Is there anything to make hair less thicker without shaving or waxing or laser removal?

Hmmm, if it's that thick -- why not try using one of those thinning shears (scissors) that the hairdressers use to see if it will 'thin' it out -- with luck, it will be just the ticket so that you can clip, clip, clip until it is a thickness you can live with. I suspect you will have to re-do it from time to time, but if it works, it could be pretty natural looking so no one will be the wiser.

Is there anything to make hair less thicker without shaving or waxing or laser removal?

use veet

Does layering your hair make it thicker or thinner??

I always thought that you get layers so it will look thicker, but my sister keeps insisting that it will make it thinner...i dunno. I have really puffy thick hair and i its SUPER long (like down to my butt) and i want to cut it, but if i cut it short it will be puffy, so i'm trying to decide how to cut it (btw my mom won't let me thin it...) so should i layer it? (rememebr-its SUPER thick)

Does layering your hair make it thicker or thinner??

If its dead thick and you want it thin. Do NOT layer. You should get it cut but not short. Halfway down ur back maybe. I got my thick hair cut short and layered last month and its awful now. It looks great after its just done but ull get outta bed 2 days later and ull be wonderin y u did that 2 ur hair...

Does layering your hair make it thicker or thinner??

it depends how they cut it, thinner. if they are really good they could make the layers blend in.

Does layering your hair make it thicker or thinner??

My hairdresser told me that layers make your hair thicker (I have thick hair too).

Does layering your hair make it thicker or thinner??

Well I have really thin hair and its all layered (choppy but just past my shoulders) and certain ares seem thinner, so yes layering should make it thinner, allthough if you get too many layers certain areas can feel thicker. Its all about the style. Just try to ask your hairdresser to razor cut your hair so it gives it a thinner appearance and Im sure it will work!

Hope this helps!! xxxx

Does layering your hair make it thicker or thinner??

It gives it more volume so in a way it looks thicker

Does layering your hair make it thicker or thinner??

It depends on what type of hair you have. If it is poker straight, it will make it thinner. If your hair is wavy or curly layering it is going to make it thicker since you are losing hair to weigh it down. Also, it depends on how long your hair is. Ask your hairdresser.

Does layering your hair make it thicker or thinner??

I have really thick hair and I layered it once...BIG mistake. It did kind of make it thinner but then the front part of my hair grew out longer than the back and it looked like I was a human poodle. Big freakin pom poms at the side of my face.

Does layering your hair make it thicker or thinner??

from my experience it makes it thicker, a couple years ago i had damaged the ends of my hair from over coloring, and i had it layered and it looked so much better, i got so many compliments on it and it looked thicker and fuller and healthier, because all the dead was off and it all blended in together.

Does layering your hair make it thicker or thinner??

If it is thick, then you should really layer it. Or else your hair will look like a giant wig if you don't. Plus layers gives it a more defined look. Try it out.

Does layering your hair make it thicker or thinner??

layers make it thinner i have really thick hair and need to get it layers to make it lay smooth if not i have a big wedge at the bottom.

Does layering your hair make it thicker or thinner??

my hair is very thick too and when i cut it shorter it tends to get fluffy at the bottom and i hated it so i started keeping it longer and getting layers in it..... this works out great because you get to keep the length and physically it is thinner since parts of it are cut so it is less heavy and hassle-free... the other great thing abut layers is that you can style them to make your hair look full of volume- more wavy or curly styles or to make it look sleeker- by straightening it.

also in the summer, my stylist had this little comb-looking thing that had a thin razor at the base and she ran it through some small middle sections of my hair to thin it out somewhat without using chemicals... this helped alot since long thick hair gets very hot and doesn't allow the skin to breathe and the back of my neck used to break out if i had it down on very hot days

Does layering your hair make it thicker or thinner??

My hair is extremely thick as well, and I have to have layers to cope. There is a danger that your hair will take on that pyramid shape when it is layered--like Gilda Radnor's character Roseanne Roseannadanna on the original Saturday Night Live.

My hair isn't quite that curly. I honestly have it layered and thinned to make it more manageable. I live on a Hawaiian island where most women grow their hair long and wear it up in a clip most of the time. I've developed the same habit, and layering makes it easier for me to do that.

Does layering your hair make it thicker or thinner??

it makes it LOOK thicker, but it feels thinner

Does layering your hair make it thicker or thinner??

it makes it have more volume. i`m sure you don`t need to do that with the texture and length of your hair, unless you straighten it.

Does layering your hair make it thicker or thinner??

THINNER

Does layering your hair make it thicker or thinner??

I had thick hair and I got my hair really layered. Don't cut it too short...try mid section or shoulder length. Also ask for a thinning at the salon with a hair type of razor. Hope it helped, my mom is a stylist. That's what she said would work. But depends what type of hair you have as well. Hope I helped.

How thick is a human hair in micrometres?

The diameter of a human hair does not have a standard value since different people have different hair structures. Your genetic makeup can cause the width of your hair to differ from that of other people. Hair color is also a big factor. Black hair is thicker than is red hair. The weather can also affect the diameter of a hair strand. As the weather gets warmer, the diameter of body hair increases. Age is another factor. Babies and young children have finer hair than adults. As a person grows up, their hair becomes thicker and stronger. Another factor is that, the closer to the root of the hair, the thicker a strand of hair would be.

In my research, I have found the diameter of human hair to range from 17 to 181 纰宮 (millionths of a meter).

What is a good home remedy to make your hair grow become thick?

Blend a whole ripe avocado, teaspoon of olive oil and 1/2 cup of water. Put on hair and leave on for 1 hour.

Wash it with cold water. Dont go under dryer, you dont want salad dressing on your head. Raw egg yolk is also good for your hair too. =)

side bangs are very goood as they look good on everyone

=D

I have really thick, black and very curly hair and i really want a new haircut with a sidebang? and ideas?

I had that exact problem! It will look great though! I cut my hair short and got sidebangs! It is really cute! Go to TONY AND GUY that place rocks they can make your hair look thinner and super straight!

I have really thick, black and very curly hair and i really want a new haircut with a sidebang? and ideas?

Talk to your hairstylist on what you should do. Because you have curly hair, it may look poufy as a side bang. Bring in some pictures of what you want your hair to look like, and the stylist should know what to do.

hope that helps!

I need a new hairstyle! i have medium long hair and its thick and wavy but i usually straighten it.?

pictures would be great

I need a new hairstyle! i have medium long hair and its thick and wavy but i usually straighten it.?

i have the same exact hair!!!!

i got mine cut a little shorter and got side bangs.

it looks way better!!!!!!! trust me!!!!!!

straightenning ur hair every day isnt that good 4 ur hair though.

maybe try straightening 2-3 times a week and try something else 4 the other days such as: put it in a high pony with a cute ribbon, or just a messy bun looks cute 2, sometimes u can even wear it down even though it is wavy.

i hate my waves but sometimes wearing it down looks kinda cute with the right outfit!!!!

srry i have no pictures :(

I need a new hairstyle! i have medium long hair and its thick and wavy but i usually straighten it.?

shave it all off. DUH

I need a new hairstyle! i have medium long hair and its thick and wavy but i usually straighten it.?

TRy mousse to curl it. TRESemme works really well. You can find it wherever you buy your groceries.

I need a new hairstyle! i have medium long hair and its thick and wavy but i usually straighten it.?

i have hiar like that just puff it up and curl it

I need a new hairstyle! i have medium long hair and its thick and wavy but i usually straighten it.?

get long layers and side bangs .. when its straight it looks so pretty! my hairs like that!

Tips for thick, half curly, poofy, frizzy hair.?

I have a big problem with my hair. It is all of the above, and even when I spend hours blowdrying it, it still doesn't look good. Does anyone have a similar problem or tips? I am looking for a cream or something to put in it after washing and leave in it. I basically need a miracle cream or something!

Tips for thick, half curly, poofy, frizzy hair.?

Paul Mitchell has a Super Skinny Hair Serum and another product that is called Straight Works...it's great for hair like yours..Mine is the exact same way. It will dry faster with the Straight works and be silkier with both the serum and the straight works. Use a round brush when blow drying it if you want. That works with mine! I also use Biolage Gelee (it's a gel for curly hair, if that's the look you wanted to go for! It really works and doesn't make your hair greasy looking!) Perming your hair can seriously damage it. And if it's colored (you didn't say if it was or not) a good stylist won't let you perm your hair for fear of further damage being done! Hope that helps!!

Tips for thick, half curly, poofy, frizzy hair.?

Spend the money on a perm that relaxes the hair. That's my best advice and don't go somewhere cheap. Go to a real salon.

Tips for thick, half curly, poofy, frizzy hair.?

Try Frizz-ease by John Freida.

Tips for thick, half curly, poofy, frizzy hair.?

If you think dealing with your hair is tough.. I promise it's tougher when you have none.

Tips for thick, half curly, poofy, frizzy hair.?

try anti frizz and for the thick hair u could get it layerd and straighten your hair

Tips for thick, half curly, poofy, frizzy hair.?

I use Bedhead Manipulator.

Some others you can try to reduce frizz are Frizz Ease, John Freida, and Redkin Serum.

Also take it easy with the blowdryer, this compounds the problem for most people!

Good luck!!

Tips for thick, half curly, poofy, frizzy hair.?

id like to know that too

Tips for thick, half curly, poofy, frizzy hair.?

Frizz-ease by John Frieda, it's THE BEST!!

Tips for thick, half curly, poofy, frizzy hair.?

umm...frizz control will defenitly help it

Tips for thick, half curly, poofy, frizzy hair.?

Also try using a ceramic straightening iron. They work wonders!

Tips for thick, half curly, poofy, frizzy hair.?

go get a japenese perm. thats if you always want it straight.

Tips for thick, half curly, poofy, frizzy hair.?

No, you don't need a miracle cream, you need good advice. Blowdrying is the worst thing you can do for poofy hair. It makes it ten times worse.

Let it air dry, then use a straightener. Add a little "sleek" creme from Matrix. It's in an orange tube. It'll work, I promise.

Tips for thick, half curly, poofy, frizzy hair.?

Try using some pomade. Bed Head makes a good one, despite their name! :-)

Tips for thick, half curly, poofy, frizzy hair.?

The problem is all of the blowdrying. I have this kind of hair. After you wash and condition and towel dry your hair, then put in a ton of mousse and let it air dry. I promise you this works. Use the Finesse touchables mousse or the one from the Got 2 Be line, they don't make your hair sticky and hard. The more you mess with your hair, the more problems you will have, it really sounds like you need to hang up your blowdryer for awhile.

Tips for thick, half curly, poofy, frizzy hair.?

use products to help your hair be less frizzy any thing you see and gel maybe go to the hair dresser and get your hair thinned therefor it wont be that poofy. get a chi flat iron straightner and blow dry it not just blow dry it.

Tips for thick, half curly, poofy, frizzy hair.?

put your hair in braids, it fast, simply and easy and it doesnt cost much

Tips for thick, half curly, poofy, frizzy hair.?

try finding a curl defining serum, and while your hair is wet work that through your hair.. and then buy a hair diffuser... not a blow dryer.. (the kind with the LARGE round end on it) and use that to dry your hair. it works for my sister... and seh ahs all of the above.. BUT he hair is really curly.. so i odn't knwo if that woudl make the difference or not...

G/L tho

Tips for thick, half curly, poofy, frizzy hair.?

well first off if your hair is poofy and frizzy do not blow dry it!!!! i have the same problem and that makes it worse because it damages your hair. i use a lot of panteen products and they really work. its worth the price. i use sleek and smooth conditioner and shampoo(has a green lable) and some leave in treatment that is actually a type of conditioner that gives me the same result as any kind of gel or mousse. the longer i use it the better my hair is(also panteen with green lable)

Tips for thick, half curly, poofy, frizzy hair.?

Would you be able to get a hair straightener? Or do you want to keep it curly? If you want it curly but not frizzy, try Frizz-Ease shampoo. They have special formulas for different hair types. If you'd like to invest in a hair straightener, get a Conair Ceramic one. Those work great! Blowdrying will only add to the poof. Towel dry, brush out, then let it air dry. Don't go to bed with wet hair, don't put it up when it's wet.

I have the same problem, by the way. All of the above works well for me. Frizz-Ease also has a hair serum, that you spray on, and that is basically you "miracle cream"!

Tips for thick, half curly, poofy, frizzy hair.?

I use this smoothing shine junk by Paul Mitchell. It's about $16 at the salon. Another one that works just as good just doesnt smell as good is Matrix. It's about $13 a pop. Amazing stuff. Use it when your hair is wet or damp. Use a pump or about the size of a dime if your hair is past yoru shoulders. Love it!

Tips for thick, half curly, poofy, frizzy hair.?

you can try coconut oil hair shine from the body shop. it's great. also frizz-ease brand products have sylicone in them and work well. you can get them at any drug or discount store (wallgreens or walmart) and potion #9 from sebastian. good luck.

Tips for thick, half curly, poofy, frizzy hair.?

First, stop the blow drying. That will only make it worse. If you really can't let it air dry then only blow dry enough to get most of the moisture away but not all. I have tried all the serums and such and to tell you the truth, because my hair is so thick, they only work for a short while.

Also, after you condition your hair, do not rinse all of it out. I also put a small amount of conditioner in a spray bottle of water and mist my hair. It helps.

Good luck

Tips for thick, half curly, poofy, frizzy hair.?

get it relaxed, depending on the length of your hair the price may range (but it lasts a long time time so its completely worth the price). And invest in a Chi flat Iron, it is great and will keep your hair flat as can be :)

Tips for thick, half curly, poofy, frizzy hair.?

Work with what you've got instead of against it. My friend, who has hair like you're describing, uses a medium hold product for curly hair (try different brands 'til you find the one you like). This way it held the curl so it wouldn't get poofy or frizzy, but it wasn't crucnchy when it dried either. It looks really great. And when she would french-braid it, she would leave conditioner in her hair to keep it from getting frizzy "fly-aways" later in the day. She goes to a beauty supply store %26amp; pays a llittle more than you would at the market, but she says it's worth it.

Tips for thick, half curly, poofy, frizzy hair.?

Please try a solution called wrap lotion, when you wash and condition your hair, spray the wrap lotion onto the hair, and if you can start to wrap your hair from the crown of your head, in a circle, if your have to pin it to go around in the circle it's worth it, and let it dry, and then comb your hair out; dry and style.

A wrap hairdo is known and famous and among AA and can work on any ones hair. It' takes about three weeks to fully tame AA hair. You do this process when you have time over night, laying around the house. And you need a good leave in conditioner, forget the hair dryer for now, and stick with you taming process and chemicals. If you use a hair dryer it should be a hood, to dry your wraps that way!

Gayle

I use the wrap style, and my hair is a beautiful Blondie, and everywhere I go Compliments, and stares! Just Beautiful!

Tips for thick, half curly, poofy, frizzy hair.?

Chicka, I had the same problem. My hair iz exactly like that. I got my hair cut short, and use A LOT of hair shtuff. I might eventually get it cut so short that I can just spike it. But seriously, it's a heck of a lot easier to take care of your hair when it's short than when It's long.

P.S. yeah, It's true. blowdrying iz baaad. Heat damage girlie. and for short hair, use "freeze"

Tips for thick, half curly, poofy, frizzy hair.?

I have thick wavy, frizzy, hair. It is curlier on the bottom which makes it poofy. Recently I tried Herbal Essences straight as a pin shampoo + conditioner. It has been amazing. I still blowdry it with the blowdrier pointed down at my head to straighten it out. It doesn't make it as straight as a pin but it definetly controls it more. I would check it out.

Tips for thick, half curly, poofy, frizzy hair.?

I had that same problem until i got a good straighter and started to use Bio-silk its a silk therapy NEVER NEVER USE a relaxers WARNING WARNING BAD ! I also use tresamay shampoo and conditioner....... The shampoo help when you don't straight-in your hair and they have a great mousse too! can show you pics if you like! good luck!!!

Tips for thick, half curly, poofy, frizzy hair.?

You need to put in a leave in coditioner after you get out of the shower, then you need to let it dry natrally.....(for the leave in coditioner, it needs to be Garnier Frutis) and the trim about every 3 months, and it should be nice and shiny......... my hair WAS that way, now it is longer and beautiful!!!!!!!!!!! :P :) :}

Tips for thick, half curly, poofy, frizzy hair.?

Try this new wave, get a bottle of Aloe Vera Gel. Slime it in your

hair and comb like u want. U can get all kinds of hair styles .

Plus it is good for the hair.

Also, u may try olive oil in hair if your hair gets too frizzy.

Tips for thick, half curly, poofy, frizzy hair.?

First off,STOP using a blow drier for awhile!!!You are drying your hair out and causing it to be even more frizzy!!Don't use harsh chemicals or straighteners until you can curb some of the damage to your hair .Click on my avatar picture to go to my answers profile and click on the 360 link to see my picture and what my hair looks like,I have long, curly, thick hair and I use either Dove frizz controll lotion,it's like a leave in that smooths your frizzes and poofyness,or garner fructis leave in conditioning cream for curly hair or sleek and shine,it works miracles and you get enough to last you a while, the price isn't bad either.I have used frizz ease it's not bad, but it's too pricey to keep buying all the time, because you don't get enough product and you will run out a lot. Also using a shampoo and conditioner that's made for curly or frizzy hair will help out tremendously, try the new herbal essences hello hydration line,it's in a big light blue bottle with a circle on the front,it's what I use,and it really works for me.You will see results right away if you try this!!!

What haircut for thicker hair helps frame a wider face?

I have thick hair that falls a few inches below the shoulder, and a cross between a heart/square-shaped face. I also wanted to make my hair look less bulky in back by kind of razor-cutting the ends, but the lady who cut my hair said it would make it look like split ends-but my mom disagrees.

Send links of pictures if you can...thanks.

What haircut for thicker hair helps frame a wider face?

Hey sweetheart :)

OK, first off, do NOT---I repeat, DO NOT---razor off the back unless your hair stylist clearly knows what he/she is doing. When done unevenly, it might look poofy in a square way and emphasize the thickness. If you want to adjust the ends, I suggest you do layers, maybe like this http://www.beautifulhairstyles.com/highl...

Trust me, you can hardly go wrong with layered hair :) Good luck!

What haircut for thicker hair helps frame a wider face?

I think you should get face-framing layers

What haircut for thicker hair helps frame a wider face?

Go for the razor cut. It is the best tool for removing bulk on thick hair. It can cause split ends if you have an inexperienced stylist and a dull razor. Bring pictures along to your stylist. That is the best way to get what you want.

What haircut for thicker hair helps frame a wider face?

Long layers will help slim your face. You don't want a choppy cut. Keep the length fairly long. A bob will just make your face look fatter.

I think razoring the ends would be ok... basically you want a look without a blunt cut. Get a second opinion, find a hairdresser where you see eye-to-eye.

I had fuzzy thick and slightly wavy hair. How can i make it silky straight?

What kinds of product i can use and where can i buy [i live in uk] no ironing.

I had fuzzy thick and slightly wavy hair. How can i make it silky straight?

permanently? you can do the whole japanese straightening thing. but you need to find a qualified beautician who does this, it makes it silky straight and perfect but it is 12 hours in a chair to get it done for about $800.

don't have the money and dont want it permanently: i suggest biosilk silk therapy ($13) its an oil serum its really good and you dont need alot put some of this on damp or dry hair and then let the blowdrying for flat ironing begin!

I had fuzzy thick and slightly wavy hair. How can i make it silky straight?

i use a redken velvet gelatine and you put it in your hair when its towel-dry and damp and them blow-dry it. but i usually straighten it after too. you will get better results if you use a flat iron.

I had fuzzy thick and slightly wavy hair. How can i make it silky straight?

If it's super frizzy you can get it chemically relaxed (like a perm only the opposite) but I would recommend getting it done at a very very good salon so you don't risk ruining your hair.

I have a LOT of thick, wavy/curly, and frizzy hair.?

I'm mixed, i have a LOT of hair that has tight curls at the back and is wavy at the front and top. My hair is very frizzy and a bit dry. I wash it once a week and always blowdry and straighten. Does anyone have any tips on how to help make my hair less frizzy and make it seem less?

I have a LOT of thick, wavy/curly, and frizzy hair.?

Use moisturizing shampoo and conditoner like Matrix, Biolage, and Infusion-23. Do deep conditoning at least once a week!!! When you condition do it twice to get your hair really soft the last time you condition it wash with cold water it will seal the moisture and add shine. Applying a leave in conditioner will often help tame your frizz, without weighing it down too much or leaving it feeling greasy. Some suggested leave in conditioners: Aveda Brilliant Damage Control, Bumble and bumble leave in conditioner with frizz control, or Aussie Hair Insurance. A great product for air drying your hair is Aveda Brilliant Pomades theres one for curly and straight hair.

If you're going to blow dry your hair and you want it curly, use a diffuser on the end of your blowdryer. Flip your head over and scruch your hair, but not too much. Dry until your hair is almost dry, and then let air dry the last bit. This prevents frizziness. Use a gel or pomade for this.

If you want to blow dry your hair and you want it straight, use a product that helps with this - Avedea Brilliant Anti-Humectant Pomade is a good one for this. Use a big round brush and blow dry your hair in sections, following the brush down through your hair. When finished with that its best to always follow up by flat ironing your hair in small sections, and then locking it in with a spray shine.

I have a LOT of thick, wavy/curly, and frizzy hair.?

You should wash your hair at least everyday or every other day. Use a lot of conditioner too.

I have a LOT of thick, wavy/curly, and frizzy hair.?

wash your hair like every other day and then put mousse on it and gel and hairspray and maybe that might work.

I have a LOT of thick, wavy/curly, and frizzy hair.?

i have thick hair.

but yeah. once a week will get it oily and greesey.

take a shower everyday and only use shampoo every other. then conditioner everyday

For starters, I'd wash it more than once a week. Look for a shampoo/conditioner line especially for dry hair, and the best ones are found in a salon, not at a grocery store.

If you want to wear it curly, look for curl defining cream or mousse. Maybe also something from the John Frieda Frizz-Ease collection.

I'm not too sure about straight hair, since mine is very curly, but you can always ask stylists at a salon about that.

I have a LOT of thick, wavy/curly, and frizzy hair.?

go to salon for hot oil or hair spa at least every month , and dont use blower it may dry your hair ...try to use some hair treatments.

I have a LOT of thick, wavy/curly, and frizzy hair.?

Go talk to your hairdresser. You need to get a good cut and possibly have your hair thinned. A good cut can make a world of difference. You also probably need to wash your hair at least a couple of times a week and use good products. Try a product like frizz eaze to tame the hair and prevent some of the frizziness.

I have a LOT of thick, wavy/curly, and frizzy hair.?

dont listen to the first answer...if you know your hair and it sounds like you do, then you know what your hair needs...if your hair is that dry and damaged (from the straightening and blowdrying) then you may not need to use shampoo that often, it will strip your hair of natural oils. Conditioner is not going to do that and you can use it as often as once a day but if you are straightening your hair just to go out in the day then you wont want to get your hair wet that often so i say it is fine to condition your hair every 3 days and shampoo once or twice a week. Also you should get a good frizz smoother (one with no alcohol) to go on after you shower and before you straighten. good luck

I have the straightest, thickest hair. Help!!?

My hair is all one length, for the most part. It is very straight and thick. If i curl it with hot curlers, or leave ins, it is straight by the first hour, even when using the strongest product. I am getting my hair cut and hopefully styled this week for a very good job interview. I want to find a style for my type of hair, and something that wont take me a hour every morning to do. I have tried perms, body waves, all of it...nothing. I dont blow dry my hair and after all the highlights, it is still very healthy. Any ideas or clues of where to look online for easy to do styles?

I have the straightest, thickest hair. Help!!?

you are so lucky, straight hair is in!!!! and it is always better to have hair too thin rather than too thick, cuz you can pull of ANY hairstyle- by leaving it alone or have a beautician thin it.

if i were you i would just go get my hair cut with tons of layers, and thinnned, that way your hair will still be really easy to do and like i said, straight is in.

or, you could get a "bob cut" "a-line" where you cut it really short- along your neck, and thin it in the fron and let it be thick in the back. here are 2 examples or bob cuts- which ONLY look good with thick hair! :)

How to get my hair to get thicker and longer by july and problems with acne?

i just got a bob and the back is cut and i got it a week ago so my hair will be healthier. One side is heathier than the other and when i was younger i had really thick hair but i started to use the hot comb and flat iron so now it's thin i'm going to a different school next year and i want my hair to be long and thicker and my friends said that black gel would make it grow and carrot oil will make it thicker but i don't no if it's true.I need help fast!!I also have a problem with my skin.My skin is oily and my nose is always shiny and i want to get clear skin fast and i want to no what is the best soaps to use.I heard dial soap is good.

How to get my hair to get thicker and longer by july and problems with acne?

I can help you with both your skin and hair.

You can have fast growing long and thick hair, but you have to attack your hair growth on the inside and the outside. If you want to stimulate your hair growth then you need a good hair growth plan of attack that has three necessary components: a healthy eating plan, substantial water intake, and a high quality hair growth and hair care product. Also, I suggest you purchase an all-natural hair growth product. Unnatural hair growth or thickening products can having severe side effects not only to your hair, but also to your body. The best natural hair growth product on the market is Beauty 4 Ashes A Double Portion Super hair growth shampoo and conditioner. They are loaded with powerful essential oils, natural herbs, and vitamin rich nutrients your hair needs to survive. Also, they contain Aloe Vera, Citrus Fruits, Jojoba, Rosemary, and Sage. It has worked miracles for my clients who have older and thinner hair. Although, I don't know your age I am sure that it will work well for you also. Beauty 4 Ashes hair growth products are very impressive and some of my clients experience several inches of growth in 5 months.

As for your skin, here are some things that you can do from home to treat your oily skin and one great natural product that works great. If you use both of these religiously I think it will stomp your extra shine and give you a great complexion.

Home Remedy Skin Care

Part 1: Get a bowl and mix together some baking soda, honey, and olive oil. Wet your face, and massage the mixture into your skin for 30 to 60 seconds. The mixture should feel grainy, but not rough.

Part 2: Place a warm washcloth on your face for 10 to 15 seconds, to open and unclog pores.

Part 3: Get some Aloe Vera Gel from the nearest whole foods store and use it as facial moisturizer.

Besides doing this, or buying Accutane or Proactiv, several of my clients have used No More Shame 24 hour Acne Eliminating Kit. The kit contains a good all-natural face scrub that has ingredients that will help your complexion. It works well because it contains essential oils. Essentials are extremely potent, yet gentle solutions that kill bacteria and fungus and control your skin's oil production. This is critical for you because you need to balance your skin's oil, not strip it. The scrub also has aloe and vitamin e, which are good for your skin. My clients' with oily skin have seen drastic improvements in their skin tone, reasiness, and texture by using the scrub. You can find it online at wwwdiscoverb4acom.

Yeh i thinking waxing is gud but will it make da hair grow back thick again??

The idea of hair growing back darker, or thicker is simply a wives tale. Especially in regards to waxing. Every time you wax it is pulling out some of the hair follicles. A percentage of these follicles will not grow back. In effect, over time the hair will grow noticably thinner.

Yeh i thinking waxing is gud but will it make da hair grow back thick again??

No waxing will make your hair grow back in thinner and lighter with time.

Will using natural Aloe Vera gel on my hair make it thick and healthy and not fall out?

Also how often to use this? I also drink apple cider vinegar and use a rinse, take biotin, eat healthy, and use natural biotin shampoo. and scalp massage when i can with olive oil.

Yes ,you can even try to stop hair loss using many cheap and effective home remedies. Egg white, lemon juice, oil massage are other home remedies at http://hairthinning.org/ will prevent further problems.

Will using natural Aloe Vera gel on my hair make it thick and healthy and not fall out?

It will benefit your hair as will the other things you are doing. However, you might have a genetic dispostition towards hair loss and I don't think those things will stop that type of hair loss.

Will using natural Aloe Vera gel on my hair make it thick and healthy and not fall out?

aloe is to help the hair with the dryness and the brittleness of the hair it is good if you dye or have split ends, it is also good for the scalp. I don't know about the hair falling out but to be honest with you it can't hurt. Hope this helped a little.

Will using natural Aloe Vera gel on my hair make it thick and healthy and not fall out?

no. you can't make your hair grow faster or thicker. the b vitamins help with strength, but you can't have think hair if you're not predisposed.

however, embrace product and technique!

try paul mitchell extra body products or rusk thickr - great value for suck awesome products!

please remember - salon products are 100% guaranteed only when sold br a professional. so go to your local salon, NOT meijers or target or walmart!

hope this helps.

Will using natural Aloe Vera gel on my hair make it thick and healthy and not fall out?

No wonder your hair is falling out. Why don't you try leaving it alone for awhile and think of something else. Remeber the old adage "a watched pot never boils". Forget about your hair and it will grow on its own.

Haha, same here.

My hair is so thick %26amp; wavy, when i try straightning it,it takes years 2 do! HELP!?

dry your hair and while drying it use a round brush and brush downward as you dry... put a hair serum in you r hair to help tame the frizzies and use a ceramic straightner on a high setting... start at the nape of your neck with a lawyer of hair down- the rest pull up with a jaw clip or band and do somewhat small sections at a time and pull the straightner slowly thru your hair.. if you do too big of pieces or go to fast you will jsut have to go over and over the same spots again.... also it maybe your straigtening iron that is not very good..... maybe get a better one.. i have a vidal sasson one it was about 30 bucks and works really well... or you could try like a chi but those are 100+

How do i get thicker hair!!!??

Im only 24. all of my sisters have thick thick hair... my hair was thin all my life... then i made the mistke of getting a perm like 5 years ago and it made it more thin... is there ANYTHING i can do that that will seriously work to get thicker hair ?

How do i get thicker hair!!!??

Nothing will make it grow thicker, just buy some good volumizing/bodyfying hair products.

How do i get thicker hair!!!??

go to your hairdresser and ask him/her, they'l give you the right product

How do i get thicker hair!!!??

Unfortunately hair thickness is all genetic, and you can't really change it-- but if your hair is at it's most healthiest it will also be it's thickest. First off you should never ever comb your hair with a brush with plastic bristles. Use a brush with boar hair bristles, trust me its worth the $7 investment. Secondly try to not comb your hair when it's wet, wait until its dry, because your hair is strudier when its dry and less likely to break. Thridly use a volumnizing shampoo and conditioner. And try to use a protein pack deep conditioner once a week. Lastly, massaging jojoba oil into your scalp every other night works wonders. I hope this helps some~

How do i get thicker hair!!!??

i had a similar problem because i had naturally curly hair and then i permed it and then my hair looked even more thin so i bought this product called doo gro and they have a whole line for thickening your hair and the color is blue and it has worked for me

If i shave and the hair is now thick is there any way i can get it thin again how it used to be?

No

If i shave and the hair is now thick is there any way i can get it thin again how it used to be?

Nope. best bet is to get lazer hair removal or use Nair. Don't keep shaving. You'll get razor bumps and they hurt =(

If i shave and the hair is now thick is there any way i can get it thin again how it used to be?

Hair on your face will get thicker as you get older, I wish this was true for hair on you head.

If i shave and the hair is now thick is there any way i can get it thin again how it used to be?

When you shave, the hair DOES NOT get thicker. It just appears so.

If i shave and the hair is now thick is there any way i can get it thin again how it used to be?

Maybe

If i shave and the hair is now thick is there any way i can get it thin again how it used to be?

no there nothing to do about it

If i shave and the hair is now thick is there any way i can get it thin again how it used to be?

Welllll you could grow it out and have it waxed. Then, never shave again. It will go back to how it was.

If i shave and the hair is now thick is there any way i can get it thin again how it used to be?

Jergens Naturaly Smooth hair thinning lotion works great with daily use.

If you want instant results you can have your hair removed with a laser.

When you wax does your hair come back thick like shaving?

EVENTUALLY; YES !

When you wax does your hair come back thick like shaving?

no not that i know of.

When you wax does your hair come back thick like shaving?

No, it doesn't. When waxing it last longer. But it is also a myth that shaving cause the hair to come but thicker. The hair is coming back at an angle due to the razor making it appear thicker.

When you wax does your hair come back thick like shaving?

No, it comes back finer.

When you wax does your hair come back thick like shaving?

Like everything else to do with the body, there's never a simple answer because the body is a complicated thing and everyone is different.

However, for most people on most areas of the body, when waxing is done, some of the hair follicles are damaged. This means that some hair will not grow back, some will grow back slower and some will grow back with finer hairs. Over all, it looks like less hair as it comes back

When you wax, each hair is pulled out by the root and so it grows back with a soft point at the end. On the other hand, when you shave the hair grows back showing the thicker blunt cut end, so it looks like the hair is coarser but in fact it's not. It's a myth that shaving promotes coarser hairs to grow or more growth.

Even if waxing does not reduce re-growth for you, obviously pulling hair out by the roots is going to last longer then shaving before any re-growth appears. The effect is much smoother and looks and feels better too.

I have thick sort of wavy hair, how do I achieve the soft curls look?

i have the same kind of hair, i use either Rave Styling Mousse (from walmart and cvs) or Garnier Fructis Soft Curl Creme with some serum.

i use rave for days when my hair is feelign really healthy or i want a longer hold.

and garnier for those days when my hair feels a bit dry. also garnier is better for when you go out right away because you dont get that crunchy look.

rave does make you hair a little cruchy depending on how much you use, you usually un-crunch it by squeezing your hair gently in your hands. i just usually use it overnight when my hair is wet(leave it layint out about your head on the pillow, like a troll's hair), so in the morning its all loose and free from rolling around on it

I have thick sort of wavy hair, how do I achieve the soft curls look?

Wash and condition your hair. While it is still wet put some gel in your hair and scrunch it at the bottoms. When you start to blow dry scrunch the bottom.

I have thick sort of wavy hair, how do I achieve the soft curls look?

If you have time to do get the curls each day try a curling iron, but not one that is too small.

I have thick sort of wavy hair, how do I achieve the soft curls look?

There are couple of ways. One is to apply a frizz creme (Tresemme makes a good frizz creme) and blow dry. Take some section and wrap them around a large curling iron, lightly spray some hair spray to make the curls stay. Continue all the way around and however far up your hair you want to go. Second, is to use big rollers all over the hair and lightly spray to keep the curls.

I have thick sort of wavy hair, how do I achieve the soft curls look?

after towel drying your hair scrunch it with garnier curl sculpting moose

How can i keep my hair healthy and thick?

Be sure to use conditioner and repeat in the shower at least twice. Use the shampoo Aussie.

How do i make my hair long and thick?

Try prenatal vitamins, or the vitamins that One a Day makes they are made just for hair skin and nails.

How do i make my hair long and thick?

Trim it as it grows to keep it thick.

Brush a lot to stimulate your scalp, and give yourself little scalp massages. That's the best (and healthiest) way to get it to grow faster.

How do i make my hair long and thick?

PUT in some fresh grass seeds i suggested it to a friend and with in 3 days it was long and thick. Now if u do this make sure to take a shower 2 times a day! then your hair would be long a shiny and also very thick. there have it try it it really works i have done it my self!!

How do i make my hair long and thick?

their is nothing you can do to make your hair thick for life, you can have thickness for a day with a type of shampoo and hair products, but They do have hairloss mousse or shampoos that will increase hair growth and make it thicker but im not sure your completly like hairless. Try to just massage your scalp for blood flow to kick start your follicles to hair growth. And eat heallthy because you are what you eat, plus try to stay away from hair dyes and perms cause they may cause hair to thin or damage hair, so just keep your hair healthy and stay away from any heating things. straighteners or hot rollers ect.

How do i make my hair long and thick?

Just keep your hair n scap clean, don't trim or cut it to much, leave it natural, but if you want fause hair peaces can be bought that are attached to you natural hair, but only use for special ocations, if you have a friend that likes to play with your hair, tell him nicely to not to too much. Sometimes your hair may fall out this is normal helps to grow hair longer. There are good shampoos n bad one consult a doctor if possible or talk to a pharmicist, most people just reccomend what they have sometimes bad.even your hair dresser may not know.Vitamins are a good chose, Your friend Jimmy.

Anyone found a hairdryer that dries ur hair super fast? My hairs long an thick an takes foreva to dr

You can get Parlux hairdryers. These are professional hairdryers and come in wattrage up to 1700.One other thing, bear in mind that the model number is very often nothing to do with the wattage! It is very confusing. Ignore the model number and look on the box for the wattage, dont be misled. The Parlux 3000 is in fact 1540-1760 Watts, more than enough. Much more and you will risk burning hair. They come in diff colour and compact sizes .

Anyone found a hairdryer that dries ur hair super fast? My hairs long an thick an takes foreva to dry?

your best bet is to purchase a dryer from a hair salon. They generally are more powerfull. 2000 watts plus, also section your hair into 3 levels and dry with a paddle brush, this gives you more surface area and always use the nozzle on the dryer as you get a more controlled flow of hot air.

also its better to let your hair naturally dry, or at least most the way, its damaging to hair to dry it all the time. Unless you are using a cold hair dryer thats ok. If your wanting it dry for volume flip ur head upside down while wet, put mouse in it, fluff it, brush. then let dry naturally gives much more a healthy shiney non frizz look.

Anyone found a hairdryer that dries ur hair super fast? My hairs long an thick an takes foreva to dry?

I have the same problem, that has got alot better since I got one of those towels that's super absorbant. I wrap my hair in it as soon as I'm out the shower.

Has noticably taken time off my drying time! :D

Anyone found a hairdryer that dries ur hair super fast? My hairs long an thick an takes foreva to dry?

this is something i would like to know.

my hair takes forever, ive got the strongest hair dryer (i bought from salon)

i cant understand why it takes me so long either, seein as the hairdresser dries it in seconds.

you might be better drying it upside down and/or in parts and aimin the nozzle directly on to hair, some people blow it around too much and it doesnt do much

Anyone found a hairdryer that dries ur hair super fast? My hairs long an thick an takes foreva to dry?

i found the 'ion shine' by babyliss really good

Anyone found a hairdryer that dries ur hair super fast? My hairs long an thick an takes foreva to dry?

The best advice and method you can use for super thick hair, or any hair for that matter is to WAIT!

Do not attempt to dry your hair 5 minutes out of the shower. You need to wait until it's only slightly damp, not wet or soaking, before you try to blow dry. That's right, don't even attempt to dry it for a long time. Ever notice how at salons they wash your hair and go through a full cut before they even start drying? That's like 30 minutes!!!

It 1. saves your arms and time and 2. keeps your hair healthier.

Also, you should always blow-dry in small sections. It's faster and you have way more control.

Good luck!

Don't waste your money before trying this.

Hey guys, my problem is that my hair is really thick and greasy. I always have the same hairstyle and people?

You need to wash your hair every day. I have oily hair, too, and must wash it every day. I know it's time-consuming to fix, but I'd rather spend time doing this than getting made fun of.

I have thick, poofy, and somewhat dry hair. How should I cut it to help minimize how poofy it looks?

I want to get my haircut. I was thinking about asking for long layers and face framing angles. I'm going to leave my hair length 3 inches below my shoulder. Would this be a good idea for my hair type? Does anyone have any other suggestions if its not a good idea?

I have thick, poofy, and somewhat dry hair. How should I cut it to help minimize how poofy it looks?

One word - layers.

Otherwise you're going to start getting what I call pyramid head where the bottom of your hair is just poofy and yuck!

I'd get long layer put and maybe get it thinned out if you have a lot of hair. Also, I'd try a hydrating conditioner once a week and that will help with the dryness.

I have thick, poofy, and somewhat dry hair. How should I cut it to help minimize how poofy it looks?

layers

I have thick, poofy, and somewhat dry hair. How should I cut it to help minimize how poofy it looks?

layers will woork to thin it out

I have thick, poofy, and somewhat dry hair. How should I cut it to help minimize how poofy it looks?

no it will make it poofyer. just go with some layers. or just ask your hair dresser what they think.

I have thick, poofy, and somewhat dry hair. How should I cut it to help minimize how poofy it looks?

Layer is a good idea to get rid of some of that bulk Also ask your hair dresser to thin it out a little bit with thinning scissors it is the best way to remove that bulk. good luck

Can human hair be used to do box braids? My hair is too thick for micros.?

Yes, you can do any style of braiding with human hair. Some people are allergic to synthetic hair, so human hair is the only hair these persons will use. Stylist like to braid with human hair because it does not tangle when you are trying to separate it from the bulk.

Dry, thick, frizzy, puffy, and brittle hair??? help emergency!?

how do i make my hair piecey, full of moisute, less frizzy, and thinner?!!!

Dry, thick, frizzy, puffy, and brittle hair??? help emergency!?

I also have dry, thick, frizzy hair. I use Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Hair Serum and it fixes all of these problems. It costs about $16 for about 8 oz. A less expensive version is Zero-Frizz Corrective Hair Treatment Hair Serum which can be purchased at Wal-Mart for $4. Also try using a smoothing shampoo, it will add to the de-frizzing abilities of either of these products.

Dry, thick, frizzy, puffy, and brittle hair??? help emergency!?

Dry, thick, frizzy, puffy, and brittle hair??? help emergency!?

i know this sounds gross and all but the next time you take a shower dont rinse the conditinor out of your hair it will keep it from frizzing trust me it works

Dry, thick, frizzy, puffy, and brittle hair??? help emergency!?

I have just the same problem! Use PANTINE PRO V !!! It's ina clear bottle and the gel is whitish blue! Good luck with your "sticky" situation!

Dry, thick, frizzy, puffy, and brittle hair??? help emergency!?

1. Having "Piecey" hair requires a layered haircut. Find a picture of someone with the hairstyle you want and then see your hairstylist.

2. Puffy and brittle hair: Try a hair rejuvenating mask (available at any drug store). This will make your hair less brittle and therefore less puffy.

3. Another reason your hair might be brittle is that it is simply beyond repair at the ends. Try trimming a few inches off your hair and see if it feels better.

4. Some salons will actually thin out your hair, but only do this if it is absolutely necessary.

Dry, thick, frizzy, puffy, and brittle hair??? help emergency!?

What helps to grow hair black and thick?

You might want to consider a vitamin supplement with B complex vitamins and pantothenic acid, biotin, choline and inositol. It would only really help if you have a deficiency in one of those. If you are a vegetarian it is hard to get enough biotin (primary source is meat), or if you have a typical american diet, you might be deficient in the other ones (best source is cruciferous (cabbage, broccoli) vegetables and dark green leafy vegetables).

For some unknown reason, shaving any part of the body other than the head seems to stimulate thick regrowth in both men and women.

Hope this helps!

I have very dry hair its quite thick...?

does anyone know of a good treatment i can use on a daily basis? i use baby products at the moment because i think it will be less damaging.

I have very dry hair its quite thick...?

I used to use Downey fabric softner, it worked great and did not make me sneeze as hair care products sometimes do. I got this idea from an American Indian actor. His hair was a lot thicker than mine though.

I have very dry hair its quite thick...?

Do you have Aussie shampoo? It is great for all hair and is not damaging.

Baby shampoo is designed for babies fine hair so you need to change your shampoo.

Sun silk shampoos are good and also Laurel do great hair treatments and daily shampoos.

Also having a good cut will help. I often get my hair dresser to thin our my hair as i have thick hair too. It is easier to manage. Layers cut in will also help and make it more manageable.

I have very dry hair its quite thick...?

u should try putting in some shampoo and conditioner

I have very dry hair its quite thick...?

For the past seven months I have used Paul mitchell's Super Skinny Serum. It's awesome. after I wash my hair I put one pump in my hair. When I blow dry or air dry and then flat iron it literally leaves my hair looking and feeling silky. You only have to use it after you wash your hair. You dont ahve to use it every morning. That is all that I put in my hair next to shampoo and conditioner. This product does not leave your hair greasy nor frizzy nor dry. You don't even have to use hair spray to hold it in place. I mean once the breeze blows your fair it automatically drops back into place. This gay guy recommended that I try it and I've never turned back to all the other junk that i used it use. It's $15 dollars a bottle and can be found mainly in hair salons that are in the mall.

I have very dry hair its quite thick...?

Be grateful as It's protecting your braincells. .. It might be costly but get it shaped and thinned out by a professional hairdresser who'll also advise you on how to treat it and which shampoo/conditioner to use

Any tips to help with growing my horrid frizzy hair it just goes thick and never seems to gain any l

my hair is not quite shoulder length and i have to admit i havent looked after it well colouring it and things, but id just love to grow it out longer

Any tips to help with growing my horrid frizzy hair it just goes thick and never seems to gain any length?

Trimming your hair just a little every six weeks DOES help it grow faster because...split ends start to develop around that time and the longest part falls off first. That's why you see women with really long stringy hair, cause they don't get it cut often and the ends are nasty looking.

Take good care of your hair. Go to a professional and get deep heating treatments once a month and trims every 6 weeks. Professionals have products that you can't buy over the counter... ask them what they use for the treatments. I have my own formula and everyone loves it. I use it myself every two weeks.

I would also keep you hair up in a clip as much as possible until it gets to the length you feel is good for you. Weight will help keep the poofies away. Also hair gloss helps. Use an iron only on special occasions.

Any tips to help with growing my horrid frizzy hair it just goes thick and never seems to gain any length?

well drink milk and my mom says the more u cut it the more faster it grows

Any tips to help with growing my horrid frizzy hair it just goes thick and never seems to gain any length?

Have you tried relaxer? It will relax your hair so it won't be puffy. You can buy it in kits or get it done at a salon. I don't think it's bad for your hair at all.

Any tips to help with growing my horrid frizzy hair it just goes thick and never seems to gain any length?

Cutting your hair does NOT make it grow faster. Where's the logic in that? Trimming the ends will eliminate split ends, but only do that once in a long while otherwise you'll just end up cutting off whatever you've grown out.

Have you tried blow drying it straight? Use products to weigh down and moisturize your hair. If your hair is frizzy from all the hair coloring and abuse, you may just have to cut all the damaged part off because no matter what you do, the damaged part will never go back to being healthy.

Any tips to help with growing my horrid frizzy hair it just goes thick and never seems to gain any length?

You need to ask to your hairdressers to thin your hair out, this way your hair won't look so frizzy. Trust me I used to have that problem and by thining it out my hair is sleek and pretty long.

Any tips to help with growing my horrid frizzy hair it just goes thick and never seems to gain any length?

first you have to get a good haircut, loads of layers are best.wash your hair then apply a serum to control frizz but not to much, then apply mouse this should make your hair nice for you while you r trying to grow it,be patient with it.you can also use a hot oil treatment on it once or twice a week.

Any tips to help with growing my horrid frizzy hair it just goes thick and never seems to gain any length?

Hi your hair sounds exactly like mine, mines thick and never seems to grow, and it thck and frizzy, i have to straigthen mine to make it look smooth. The best thing i did was to get a good conditioner and massage my scalp, you cant get shampoos for your scalp to penetrate it so it stimulates you scalp and lets your hair grow. Also dont dye it will the last colour has wash out as your hair gets brittle and breaks of causeing it not to grow.I havent dyed my hair for a few months now and already its grown and it better condition. My hair has ever grown so fast, i use rehab shampoo from Lush, I think its this helping my hair to grow, it also smooths it out alot. If you havent got a pair of hair straighteners i would get a pair with high heat as they work owunders, just remember to use a leaving conditioner and heat protection spray

improve your diet more fruit and veg

My hair is really thick, puffy, andcurlyhow do i make it thiner or less puffy?

plz ive tried everything

My hair is really thick, puffy, andcurlyhow do i make it thiner or less puffy?

Mine was the same way when I was young. I tried ironing it but it looked like fuzzy straw, I tried straightening it but it was a wavy mess.

What worked for me was a round brush and the low setting on my hair dryer, It takes time though.

They also now have the porcelain flat irons and the ones with bristles. Those work great!

Ask you hairstylist which is bettter and make sure your hair is healthy.

My hair is really thick, puffy, andcurlyhow do i make it thiner or less puffy?

Try straightening it. I know it takes a lot of time but it works (most of the time). Or go to a hair salon and ask them to thin your hair. My friend got that done and that definitely works.

My hair is really thick, puffy, andcurlyhow do i make it thiner or less puffy?

i love that new herbal essences straight shampoo and conditioner in the pink bottles... using a good straightening iron is a must

My hair is really thick, puffy, andcurlyhow do i make it thiner or less puffy?

go to wal-mart and they have a conditioner its in a blue bottle and has a girl w/ black hair on it and its aniti puff it works really well!! and try faltening it!!

My hair is really thick, puffy, andcurlyhow do i make it thiner or less puffy?

have your stylist relax it. Before i relaxed mine it was just as yours, now nothing is more soft, thin, and manageable. Try it. but make sure you live up to it

My hair is really thick, puffy, andcurlyhow do i make it thiner or less puffy?

go to your hairstylist and ask them to thin it out,

thinning is a special cutting technique

they take scissors and cut vertically to the hair, not horizontally.

My hair is really thick, puffy, andcurlyhow do i make it thiner or less puffy?

straightner is my first thought- although its a daily CHORE

Some shampoos like infusium really work well as far as combatting frizz, damage, and dryness.

Of course there is always a salon where you can go and have is razored to really thin it out, you must keep it up because the layers once grown out can really make it seem thick.

My hair is really thick, puffy, andcurlyhow do i make it thiner or less puffy?

The best product i found for curly, frizzy hair is herbal essence moose ( the curl activating one) its purple. I use it on dry or wet hair it's the best. Even if you keep touching your hair it won't frizz. Don't use gel. It takes a long time to dry, it flakes, and it weights your hair down. DONT EVER THIN YOUR HAIR. You'll regret it big time. Just use this it's the best product ever and it's not expensive. Also dont get any of those chemicl straighting because when your hair starts to grow out again you'll have little fuzzy curls around your face, it's bad. Also if you get your hair cut in lots of layers shortest one by your chin and then the layers kinda get thinner as the go on it will look thinner and be easier to handle. Also dont get it cut with a razer, that's only for thin hair it will undo your curls, or make them weird loookin. You wont have that triangle hair. If you strighten your hair everyday it frizz quickly in the heat. Thats why i dont straighten in the smmr unless it s a party. If you want to straighten your hair i suggest using a ceramic iron, but dont do it when its wet it'll kill your hair. Also put frizz ease when it's wet wait till it dries and straighten it. If its something fancy i suggest going to a salon and having them blowdry it for u, they do a great job you just have to find the right person. It lasts for a day or two. Everyone in my family has curly hair and i always end up doing it for them. You just have to mess around with your hair until you find out wat suits you and your hair. but that moose is great it works on all kinds of super curly or wavy hair.

My hair is really thick, puffy, andcurlyhow do i make it thiner or less puffy?

You can get it professionally thinned.

My hair is really thick, puffy, andcurlyhow do i make it thiner or less puffy?

use sunsilk products, the blue bottle. it really works!

My hair is really thick, puffy, andcurlyhow do i make it thiner or less puffy?

My hair is really limp and thin, and I wish it had more volume. I would be happy with what you have. But if you really want to thin it down a little bit, stylists can do that at a haircut with this weird little thinner blade. Or maybe you could find some volume control products? I'd go for Paul Mitchell, I really like his stuff...to get my hair to have more volume, haha. I'm sure he has something that could help you though.

Here's a link for some Paul Mitchell products that might help you:

My hair is really thick, puffy, andcurlyhow do i make it thiner or less puffy?

Hey , my hair is wavyish and poofy everytime I got out of the shower . and everytime I'd straighten my hair , it would take all the waves out , but still be poofy , so I get Paintine Pro-V moose , get the "Straightening" one .. It makes my hair a little bit non-poofier . Then when I staighten it , it's a lot better . =]

Hoped I helped !

My hair is really thick, puffy, andcurlyhow do i make it thiner or less puffy?

you have a couple of options, first of you need to seek a professional, you could texuturize your hair with shears, or you could chemically texurtize your hair as well. also product product product will help you alot along with some professional help and advice.

My hair is really thick, puffy, andcurlyhow do i make it thiner or less puffy?

my hair is like the same type is urs and i have trouble alot too so this is what i do. i always take a quick shower and then get out blowdry and straigten it, i use this stuff it protects your hair form heat damage and it prevents frizz, it comes in a red spray bottle(wal mart or other drugstores). then i keep brushing it for abour 5 min so the heat is let out then it should be fine. for the rest of the day but if its humid i sometimes use a little bit of hair spray put it on my hands and rub it into my tips and scalp. hope it helps. :)

My hair is really thick, puffy, andcurlyhow do i make it thiner or less puffy?
