When you flat iron hair, use a humidity-defiying hairspray. I also use John Frieda Frizz-Ease Hair Serum when I straighten my hair. When you wear it curly, either use a curling mousse for frizz-free curls or use a curl-defying spray like john frieda frizz-ease dream curls. A bit of lotion also helps control flyaways.

But the most important piece of advice I have is to use a rich conditioner every night, then a deep-conditioning treatment every week or so. If you have mousterized hair, you have curls less likely to frizz!

Perms don't work? Go to a salon and get a perm, sounds like you're doing these procedures at home. I used to have kinky hair like yours in July and then i got it permed, its amazing. After you perm it, usually the hair stylist styles it and straightens it.. and you cant sweat it out.. just go to a salon and get a perm. Worked for me, hope it works for you.
