Hey Sal.
Congrats on the wedding......If your hair is short, you can still have an up-do. Your hair-dresser can add in hair-pieces to give you a beautiful up-do.
And NO. You are not too old to grow it out. You go with what you want hunny and not what the assumed perception of others tells you to do.
You will look beautiful for your girl on her big day.

no reason not to grow it out if that is what you want.

Hmm, well it's hard to tell - everyone looks different and suits different styles. My mother-in-law is 50 and she has a really nice bob just below her chin, and her hair is really thick as well.
Your other option would be to buy a good quality hairpiece in an up-do style for your daughter's wedding.

Same situation here; My hair is very thick and is now down to my waist, Am much, much older than you, and decided to do whatever I want, as long as it doesn*t hurt someone else or break the law. I get compliments on my hair just about every place I go... Just think about it, in the olden days, women all had long hair. In my opinion, short hair can be worn one way only, that's it. Go for it.

Grow it out. A lot of mature ladies look good with long hair. Age is not an issue.

Abolutely not! Long hair makes you look young and sexy. Talk to your haistylist to determine what length and color would be appropriate for you as well as how to care for it. Our hair texture changes as we get older and may require a different maintenance such as deep conditioning and certain shampoo. Congrats on your daughters wedding!

My grandma did the same thing.
She grew it out a few years ago and she looks a LOT younger.
She often get mistaken for my mum! :(
