Im only 24. all of my sisters have thick thick hair... my hair was thin all my life... then i made the mistke of getting a perm like 5 years ago and it made it more thin... is there ANYTHING i can do that that will seriously work to get thicker hair ?

Unfortunately hair thickness is all genetic, and you can't really change it-- but if your hair is at it's most healthiest it will also be it's thickest. First off you should never ever comb your hair with a brush with plastic bristles. Use a brush with boar hair bristles, trust me its worth the $7 investment. Secondly try to not comb your hair when it's wet, wait until its dry, because your hair is strudier when its dry and less likely to break. Thridly use a volumnizing shampoo and conditioner. And try to use a protein pack deep conditioner once a week. Lastly, massaging jojoba oil into your scalp every other night works wonders. I hope this helps some~

i had a similar problem because i had naturally curly hair and then i permed it and then my hair looked even more thin so i bought this product called doo gro and they have a whole line for thickening your hair and the color is blue and it has worked for me
