My hair is really thick and wavy?

I don't have time to straiten it in the morning and even when I do it is wavy again in an hour or so. What could make it straighter that won't take very long?

My hair is really thick and wavy?

I used to have the same problem!!!! but i went out and bought that wet2straight straightener and it REALLY works. I also use tresemme heat protect spray, it makes your hair really shiny and feel really light. My stylist told me at one point that i had "600 pounds of hair" and when i use it, i can just run my fingers through it without getting knotted or anything! i love it and it protects your hair because that straightener gets REALLLY hot....be careful when you use it tho, make sure you have the holes for the steam on the top or else you will burn yourself. hope i helped!

My hair is really thick and wavy?

Blow dry it straight! Or ask a styilest for tips on it. Or try somthing else with it!

My hair is really thick and wavy?

let some1 help u blowdry ur hair

My hair is really thick and wavy?

My hair is thick and VERY naturally curly. VERY. I used to have the same problem and would take 2 or more hours to straighten my hair without satisfying results. Then I found my incredible solution. Its called wet2straight and i think its by remington. You just dry your hair with a towel after showering and get to straightening. Do it in levels, starting with the bottom. the heat will release the wetness in the form of steam, and your hair will be amazingly straight untill you wash it again. Just try it, its amazing. About 40$ but worth it. and it only takes me 15-30 mins anymore. I LOVE it.

My hair is really thick and wavy?

i've seen comercials for garnier fructious shampoo that is supposed to help. i have that problem too but i just tough it out and get up early to straighten.

My hair is really thick and wavy?

get a straight perm

I have thick, straight, short hair. A friend recently suggested that?

I use a flatiron on it. If its already straight, what good will that do? I didn't want to look like a dummy, but I was wondering.

I have thick, straight, short hair. A friend recently suggested that?

Hi, I can kinda understand that one. i recently got my hair cut short - and it gets messier easier - and the slightest wind can mark up the part - even though my hairs straight. I use a straightner - it only takes a couple minutes - to tidy it up before I go to work.

I have thick, straight, short hair. A friend recently suggested that?

well is it frizzy? she may have suggested to use a flatiron on it because its frizzy. if its not then i don't know why she suggested that. maybe its straight, but a little wavy too? but if you think it looks fine thats all that matters. she may not know what she's talking about. but then again, maybe i don't. lol

My hair is really thick and natural. I want to stay natural but I want it texturized, fine, and silk

What do i do? what do I use?

My hair is really thick and natural. I want to stay natural but I want it texturized, fine, and silky.?

My hair is really thick and natural. I want to stay natural but I want it texturized, fine, and silky.?

i have that same problem. best answer i have is straightening shampoo and stuff, and a straight iron.

My hair is really thick and natural. I want to stay natural but I want it texturized, fine, and silky.?

Try using creme of nature for natural hair it is made to make it soft and silky after you do so try pressing it and be sure to get the shampoo and the conditioner they work lovely together. Also try olive oil hair products.

I have thick natural hair to so i feel where you are coming from.

CHi flat iron

My hair is really thick and natural. I want to stay natural but I want it texturized, fine, and silky.?

They are several things that you can do to make your hair more smooth, straight, and manageable without using chemicals or heat. Moisture is extremely critical to make your hair straight. However, you need to infuse your hair with long-lasting moisture that won閳ユ獩 weigh your hair down.

Tip #1: Do conditioning pre-wash treatments to your hair before shampooing it. Simply whip up 3 tablespoons of Mayonnaise, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 1 egg, and a 1/4 cup of coconut milk. Let it remain on your hair for at least an hour. The lemon juice will act as a straightener. The mayonnaise and other ingredients will strengthen and moisturize your hair. Do this 2-3 times a week. Apply a warm towel around your head for deep conditioning.

Tip # 2: Buy a high quality, all natural hydrating and straightening hair care product for your hair. I have tried several hair care products, including Carol's Daughter, Giovanni, RedKen, Burt Bees, Ojon, KeraCare, and Motions. However, I recommend using GodHead Silky Smooth Hydrating Shampoo %26amp; Conditioner. It will hydrate and smooth your hair while infusing your scalp with essential oils made to grow and treat dry, coarse, and damaged hair. The product also contains moisturizing Aloe Vera, Coconut Oil, Vitamin E, and Jojoba, which will heal and moisturize your strands and make your hair more bouncy, shiny, smooth, and healthy. The product will also soften and detangle your hair better than most, if not all, products on the hair care market. As a result, your hair will be more manageable and more straight. And, the more you use it, the straighter it will become. Go to www.discoverb4a.com to find the products.

If you don't want to waste any more money, I would buy this product. But, if you go with another brand of products, make you stray away from traditional, unnatural hair care products available for purchase in most drugstores or beauty supply stores. They contain synthetic emulsifiers and harsh detergents, such as Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate, Phosphates, Dimethicone, and Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. Unfortunately, these products are loaded with toxins and chemicals and will strip your hair of moisture and nutrients it needs to be soft, smooth, healthy, and hydrated.

Tip # 3: Drink water and take fish oil to give your hair moisture from the inside out.

My hair is very thick, I can't even fit it all under a hat, so if I wanted to wear a wig how wo

Put it in braids. 5 or 6 if you don't want to do your whole head in small ones.

My hair is very thick, I can't even fit it all under a hat, so if I wanted to wear a wig how would I do that

My best advice would be to try to straighten it as best as you can. Then put it in a low pony %26amp; kinda bring it up your head %26amp; keep it in place with bobby pins. try to spread the hair evenly, so you can place the wig on top without large lumps %26amp; hair hanging out.

My hair is very thick, I can't even fit it all under a hat, so if I wanted to wear a wig how would I do that

I would try a nice snug french braid or double braid and tuck the length of the braid-tail(s)under the part of the wig cap that hugs the nape of your neck.

My hair is very thick, I can't even fit it all under a hat, so if I wanted to wear a wig how would I do that

do an undercut (it will still look 'normal' if you wear it down)

i have to wear a wig for work and it's really bunchy even though it's fine. an undercut is the only thing that makes wearing one somewhat bearable.

My hair is very thick, I can't even fit it all under a hat, so if I wanted to wear a wig how would I do that

hi this is Cess

if you have short hair, it will be thicker than if it was longer. if you want short hair, next time you are at the hairdressers you could ask for it to be thinned out but if you treat it right i think thick hair is beautiful and i wouldnt want to be wearing a wig

My hair is very thick, I can't even fit it all under a hat, so if I wanted to wear a wig how would I do that

First, you'd need a larger wig. Second, your hair would need to be finely braided or otherwise firmly confined before attempting to fit the wig in place.

Hairstyles for homecoming dance for thick, mid-back length hair?

I don't want to get the curls done at the hairstyle place with enough hairspray to cause a hole in the ozone layer the size of Texas. I have dark brown hair that is naturally wavy, but I live in a very humid city, and my hair not only poofs, but frizzes (I look like a squirrel who decided to experiment with a bug zapper). Ponytails and straightners are my best friends. I want to wear my hair down, but the dance at my school gets VERY hot (my school has 3,800 kids. About 60-75% of them attend... The gym and cafeteria get very packed and very hot). My dress is berry pink, and my mom is making it in the kneelength pattern for this dress:

All advice is helpful.

Hairstyles for homecoming dance for thick, mid-back length hair?

The "messy" looking 'updo' like a spiky bun is SOOOOO cute with your type hair. Also, if you dance or like you said, it's hot in there...it's easy to re-do a couple of strands here and there and they don't look "out of place".

Do you know where to find thick unrelaxed human weaving hair?

I am an african american female who travels out of the country often. I once purchased a brand of human weaving hair that was the texture of unpermed hair. It was the same texture as my hair. Now all of the yack texture weaving hair that I find seems to be silky or permed very straight.

How do you get thick, fluffy frizzy hair by doing it yourself at home???

If your hair is super straight, I suggest flipping your hair over and using the blowdryer on it. Blow-dry all over...especially under the ends of your hair, so that it blows your hair all around, occasionally using your hairspray to keep that cool "wild" look in place. When you flip your hair back over, it should be fuller. If not, then I'm stupid and should not be giving advice. I hope I'm right.

How do you get thick, fluffy frizzy hair by doing it yourself at home???

I just wake up.

How do i get rid of my thick brown eyebrow hair in 5 days?

Simple!

Get your eyebrows waxed and groomed at the salon!

How do i get rid of my thick brown eyebrow hair in 5 days?

Well, you can shave it off or pluck it, or wax it. Go to a salon and get it waxed.

How do i get rid of my thick brown eyebrow hair in 5 days?

Why not just go to a salon where they can wax it for like, $8?

How do i get rid of my thick brown eyebrow hair in 5 days?

How do i get rid of my thick brown eyebrow hair in 5 days?

Wax

How do i get rid of my thick brown eyebrow hair in 5 days?

how about pluck it

How do i get rid of my thick brown eyebrow hair in 5 days?

Wax...or pluck! That will only take a few minutes...certainly not 5 days. Go to a salon if you are nervous about doing it yourself. They will do a great job!

How do i get rid of my thick brown eyebrow hair in 5 days?

If the problem is that it's too dark, go to walgreens and get a Creme Bleach. Follow the instructions, and take it off when you think you've reached the desire degree of color. I would recomend that you take the cream off somewhat earlier than supposed to, so you don't go too far. If you do bleach the hair too far, use an eyebrow pencil and correct the colour. The rest you can pluck. GOod luck! ;)

How do i get rid of my thick brown eyebrow hair in 5 days?

go to a beauty spa. don`t pluck or wax it yourself the first time. i garauntee you'll mess up and regret it!

How do i get rid of my thick brown eyebrow hair in 5 days?

DO NOT DO IT YOURSELF or let any of your friends do it!!

I am sure you can walk into any, any salon and get it done professionally for less than $10

Wax is best it last for weeks.

I would trade you for my very light and thin eyebrows. Hope that helps and post pics with your results.

How do i get rid of my thick brown eyebrow hair in 5 days?

Consider keeping it as a natural part of your individual beauty and maybe even emphasizing it through the way you makeup your eyes, wear a fuzzy brown sweater, etc.

How do i get rid of my thick brown eyebrow hair in 5 days?

well, it wouldn't take 5 days to get rid of it dear. :]

you can go to a salon and get your eyebrows threaded, which is, in my opinion, the quickest and neatest solution. threading is when they use a cotton thread to tie around all the areas of hair you don't want, and pull them all out at once. and its only about 6 bucks. hurts all at once though, but its worth it. the more you get it done, the less it hurts because you become immune to the pain. and plucking takes a while, threading takes about 10 minutes at most.

I have ALOT of thick and curly hair. How do i get it super straight with a shine and no frizz??

Pleaz Help!!

I have ALOT of thick and curly hair. How do i get it super straight with a shine and no frizz??

i am like you and i just wash my hair with like dangerously straight herbal essences or smooth intense vive pro shampoo %26amp; conditioner. then i use a product like garnier fructis smoothing milk on my wet hair. then i use the remington wet to straight and it goes from dry to straight!

I have ALOT of thick and curly hair. How do i get it super straight with a shine and no frizz??

I also have very frizzy hair. I used pantene deep conditioner and my hair wasnt frizzy anymore. So try pantene.

I have ALOT of thick and curly hair. How do i get it super straight with a shine and no frizz??

I have the same exact hair. but when you go get your hair cut you should ask the stylist to thin it out, then ask her for the best product for your hair. she should help. :]

I have ALOT of thick and curly hair. How do i get it super straight with a shine and no frizz??

A hair straightener is really good. If you get a ceramic one at a beauty supply store. Or what I do is use a 1 1/2 inch to 2 inch barrel fat iron (that way I can get and under flip or outer flip if I want it) and then spritz on some shine, also from the beauty supply store. Ceramic barrels will help with the frizz and make sure its got 1-20 or 30 heat settings.

I have ALOT of thick and curly hair. How do i get it super straight with a shine and no frizz??

well try washing it with pantene then buy a straightner that will straighten wet damp and dry hair!but do it one piece at a time.

I have ALOT of thick and curly hair. How do i get it super straight with a shine and no frizz??

well u should get a really good flat iron from a good beaty salon and also get some frizz control spray or gel(cream).

I have ALOT of thick and curly hair. How do i get it super straight with a shine and no frizz??

First of all, you need a shampoo %26amp; conditioner that is for heat styling hair. Then you invest in a very good straight iron. Then you also have to get the straighten sirum they sell. My daughter has the same problem. And this works for her.

I have ALOT of thick and curly hair. How do i get it super straight with a shine and no frizz??

Okay

1. Purchase the Farouk Chi Iron

http://www.folica.com/Chi_Flat_I_317_1.h...

2. Purchase Biosilk Hair Serum

http://www.fashambeauty.com/biosilk.html

-Right after you get out of the shower put a dime size amount of serum in your hair..make sure to get the ends.

-Blow dry your hair with a round brush, do it in sections.

-Once you are done blow drying it, use the straightener..and do it in sections, beginning from the bottom and working your way up..

Your hair will come out looking great!! Good Luck!

I have ALOT of thick and curly hair. How do i get it super straight with a shine and no frizz??

i had the same problem until i got a relaxer put on it .other then that i used this dangerouly straight by herbal essences ,and then put got2b crazy smooth on my hair and let it dry. then i used my conair 2" straightener and it goes smmmootthh.

then to top it off use tressemme freeze %26amp; control hair spray

woo hoo!

I have ALOT of thick and curly hair. How do i get it super straight with a shine and no frizz??

wear your hair curly one day so it is easier to manage. then the next morning strighten it. but seperate you hair into thin layers (no more than one inch thick) it will work alot better. also using a straightening serum might help.

I have ALOT of thick and curly hair. How do i get it super straight with a shine and no frizz??

Use Herbal Essences straighting shampoo and conditioner. If you don't straight hair all the time, use Herbal Essences straighting spray after you're done straighting your hair.

I have ALOT of thick and curly hair. How do i get it super straight with a shine and no frizz??

I TOTALLY HAVE THE SAME PROMBLEM AND WHEN MY HAIR IS WET I BRUSH IT THEN PUT ON A PRODUCT LIKE JOHN FRIEDA FRIZZ EASE OR BED HEAD AFTER PARTY AND I ALSO USE GARNIER SLEEK AND SMOOTH SERUM AND CREAM!!!

tHEN DRY IT AND PUT SOME GEL IN UR HANDS WHEN ITS DAMP AND THEN DRY IT COMPLETLY

FINALLY USE A STRAIGHTNER

HOPE THIS HELPS!!!

I have ALOT of thick and curly hair. How do i get it super straight with a shine and no frizz??

i have the same problem. i wash my hair with a regular shampoo and conditioner. then i use john frieda extra strength hair serum to eliminate frizz. then i put in paul mitchell straightworks gel and use a ceramic blow dryer to try to blow it straight. that part is hard. after i do that , i use the chi flat iron to flat iron my hair in sections until it is super straight. when its done, i use a anti humidity spray like aussie sydney smooth anti humidity spray. it stays perfectly straight until you wash it! this way is really really hard and very time consuming.

ORRR

if you dont want to blow your hair straight with a hair dryer, you can wash your hair , apply the products, and let you hair dry naturally. after it is dry, you can flat iron it and then use the hair spray. on my hair this takes about an hour not including drying time. i prefer this way because blowing you hair straight is really really hard and takes about 2 hours total for me.

i hope i helped!!!!!!!!!

My Hair is really thick and blow drying doesn't work to make it straight can you help???

Nowadays you can get reverse perms. They use the same sorts of chemicals but have the opposite effect. They straighten your hair.

Ask your hairdresser about it.

My Hair is really thick and blow drying doesn't work to make it straight can you help???

yeah, get a flat iron and some straightening spray ( i prefer to use Get It Pressed from regis solons)

My Hair is really thick and blow drying doesn't work to make it straight can you help???

blow dry in small sections until TOTALLY dry! I have this problem too, and just had to do smaller sections. Then use a straightner, and in similarily small sections straighten it, letting each section TOTALLY cool (brush it tightly) before moving on to the next section. Good luck, also john frieda products are the best I've found, but don't bother with the shampoo/conditioner, just the gels/waxes.

My Hair is really thick and blow drying doesn't work to make it straight can you help???

use a straighting comp and put it on the stove to heat it and straighting it

My Hair is really thick and blow drying doesn't work to make it straight can you help???

Hey I've had the same problem meself. Remedy get a good hairdresser to show you how! She does small sections at a time then applies a plant derived oil to the ends and it looks great. My hair is naturally frizzy so its a buzz when she does this cos it stays straight as a dye until I wash it.

My Hair is really thick and blow drying doesn't work to make it straight can you help???

Try using a metal round brush, It will heat up, so the hair forms to it kind of like a curling iron. Then I would suggest using a flat iron. Make sure it is a ceramic one. Good luck!!

My Hair is really thick and blow drying doesn't work to make it straight can you help???

try washing then wrapping using small pieces and then sit under the dryer when you come from under the dryer part your hair in four sections add a Little moisturizer to it an begin to flat iron in small pieces from root to end wrap it back up and sit under the dryer for 10 min. you should be straight good luck

My Hair is really thick and blow drying doesn't work to make it straight can you help???

OK after you get out off the shower towel-dry your hair and use like heat activated straightening cream ( i think loreal makes a really good one) then blow-dry. after that use a straightener with lots of heat power. that should keep it straight for a day or two but if you want long-term just go to a salon and get it chemically straightened

My Hair is really thick and blow drying doesn't work to make it straight can you help???

stop eating your crusts

My Hair is really thick and blow drying doesn't work to make it straight can you help???

just get a really good hair straightner the best i have found is revlon with the gold plates. if that dont work go get it chemicaly straightened

My Hair is really thick and blow drying doesn't work to make it straight can you help???

Hair straightening serum and good quality straighteners.

My Hair is really thick and blow drying doesn't work to make it straight can you help???

uby some ghd hair strhtners, the best ceramic irons and willl get your hair perfectly straight

My Hair is really thick and blow drying doesn't work to make it straight can you help???

I have really think hair and have the same problem. I blast it dry with hairdryer then use my GHD straighteners. They are a great investment. Trust me!

My Hair is really thick and blow drying doesn't work to make it straight can you help???

Firsly invest in some ghd straightners! when you have just washed your hair apply john frieda frizz ease serum to your hair, blast off with hair dryer till your hair is just slightly damp, next section off your hair and starting with an inch wide section of hair from the back of your head use the ghd straightners, from root to tip, continue this method all the way around your head and gradually work your way up, finish with some more frizz ease to smooth. By the way you also need alot of patience as it is a lenghty process!!! hope this helps.

How can you tell if you have thick or thin hair?

there's more volume to thick hair and kinda stringy for thin hair. most ppl are in the middle.

If you can't tell the difference, you probably have medium hair.

How can you tell if you have thick or thin hair?

basically it looks more bulky and heavy if you have thick hair, also each hair strands are closer when you look at the scalp.Thick hair also tends to look like theres so much of it.

Also curly hair look smore volumising and thick when it isnt. its just the gaps between curls taking up the space.

I have thick black asian hair. How can I dye it platinum blonde?

Please, don't do it. It would have to be bleached. Bleaching depends on your starting haircolor. If you had dark blonde hair, you wouldn't have to leave the bleach on for very long, so therefore, you wouldn't have much damage. I have medium brown hair. I had it bleached, and it FRIED my hair. My strands were frizzy and they broke very easily. Plus, since you have jet black hair, the lightest color a salon could make it would be an un-natural looking pale yellow, so they would have to dye it after they bleached it! That is a lot of damage to your beautiful hair. If you still want to go lighter, I'd recommend brown. The color that would get you to the lightest point would be Loreal Paris Les True Brunettes in Ultra Light Ash Brown. It's a high-lifting shade, designed to make even black hair light brown. It's MUCH safer for your hair than bleach. And it doesn't require as much upkeep and your roots wouldn't be as noticable.

I have thick black asian hair. How can I dye it platinum blonde?

You have to go to the salon and have the pro's do it you can't do this from the box of Miss Clairol.

I have thick black asian hair. How can I dye it platinum blonde?

Please don't! It's a bad look...

I have thick black asian hair. How can I dye it platinum blonde?

The best thing would probably be to go to a good salon and have it professionally done. That way they can do what's best for your hair color/type.

I have thick black asian hair. How can I dye it platinum blonde?

Why would you want to do that. I think your hair is beautiful. It helps define you. I would give almost ANYthing to have a girl with hair like that. I love it.

I have thick black asian hair. How can I dye it platinum blonde?

you would have to go to a beaution, it has to go threw many stages

I have thick black asian hair. How can I dye it platinum blonde?

Are you crazy? You first have to strip it, and then bleach it...your hair will be permanently damaged...I don't recommend this, especially with beautiful thick Asian hair...hold onto what you have, maybe funk out the ends...you can cut those off if it's stupid or damaged.

I have thick black asian hair. How can I dye it platinum blonde?

BLEACH IT STUPID!!!

I have thick black asian hair. How can I dye it platinum blonde?

Don't. You have no idea how beautiful your hair is to guys. I would leave it alone. Becoming blonde means you have to keep going back and back and back. Besides do you want to endure all those blonde jokes? No way girl!!!

I have thick black asian hair. How can I dye it platinum blonde?

By the time it reaches platinum blonde, it will break off. Asian hair cannot be lightened safely to be platinum without breaking down the actual hair strand. Expect a big frizzy mess and scalp abrasions from the bleach.

I have thick black asian hair. How can I dye it platinum blonde?

If you are seriously considering getting it done do it professionally. Bleaching it by yourself will result in an orange or complete damage to the point where you can't reverse it.

My advice, don't do it! Love your beautiful natural hair.

I have thick black asian hair. How can I dye it platinum blonde?

dont. it's bad for everything. I have an asian housekeeper who used to have beautiful dark brown hair then she died it and now it's all brittle and ugly!

My hair is REALLY thick. I want it to be long. How do I make it softer?

Try using deep conditioning treatments also oiling your hair (from the ears down) moisturizes your hair and makes it soft. you can use anything from olive oil to jojoba oil. leaving your conditioner in for 3-5 minutes without washing it out will help too

My hair is REALLY thick. I want it to be long. How do I make it softer?

use pantene or motions conditioner

My hair is REALLY thick. I want it to be long. How do I make it softer?

use a hair product called

Maine and Tail

it makes hair soft and not as breakable. it comes in shampoo conditiner and a detangler. its meant for horses but also humans its sold in any supermarket

My hair is REALLY thick. I want it to be long. How do I make it softer?

This sounds ridiculous, but beer works wonders. Wet your hair, pour a can of room-temperature beer in it, wrap up in a towel and wait about 15 minutes. Then go wash your hair as you normally would. Use a good conditioner, too. Instantly softer.

My hair is REALLY thick. I want it to be long. How do I make it softer?

you have to use matte to thin it out you can buy it at most hairstyling places

My hair is REALLY thick. I want it to be long. How do I make it softer?

I have thick, straight hair and my sisters have curly hair! They'd do anything to have hair like mine!

My hair is very thick and straight. I have a hard time making it curl. Any Suggestions?

yeah cut i all off. j/k maybe you should thinin your hair first.

My hair is very thick and straight. I have a hard time making it curl. Any Suggestions?

Either your hair is made to be straight or it's just a little more difficult. If it's the latter, try slightly damping your hair before using rollers or doing rag curls. Leave these in until your hair dries and it should work well.

My hair is very thick and straight. I have a hard time making it curl. Any Suggestions?

use a curly aran or use a sanpoo

What is the best haircut for really thick wavy long hair on a oval face?

I am also a brunette

What is the best haircut for really thick wavy long hair on a oval face?

I am also brunette and have really thick hair and an oval face. My hair is more curly than wavy and I keep mine in long layers (my shortest layer falls just under my chin if it's pulled straight) so that the hair on top kind of weights down my hair. Don't make the layers too short or your hair will just get more volume. I also keep my hair long/ medium length since I have so much of it.

I used to have problems with getting a sort of triangle look to my hair when it was all one length, but the layers help avoid that.

Also, if you decide to get your hair thinned (the hair is not actually made thinner, ask your hair stylist if you don't know what i'm talking about). Make sure it's not thinned near the roots. If you get it thinned they should start several inches away from the root. Many people debate that thinning your hair makes the "poofiness" worse because as the hair grows out it sticks out, but if you have it thinned further away from the root it works ok. Thinning it will take alot of the bulk out of your hair.

Hope that helps!

What is the best haircut for really thick wavy long hair on a oval face?

i would go with layers and keep in medium length. no bangs i don't think. unless you straighten them. Then you should get side bangs.

What is the best haircut for really thick wavy long hair on a oval face?

i have thick wild curly black hair. Iayers have been my saviour!!!!! now i have sexy bouncey tameable hair lol

What is the best haircut for really thick wavy long hair on a oval face?

i have the same exact hair, and when i got a sholder-length cut with a sidebang i looked better than just having long hair. a bob would make your face look too long, so medium shoulder-length is the best in my opinion

What is the best haircut for really thick wavy long hair on a oval face?

layers work. they can also, "thin" out your hair with scissors that have razor ends. layers look good on pretty much everyone, and if you flat iron it, it will bring out the layers even more.

What is the best haircut for really thick wavy long hair on a oval face?

Layers, definitely layers. It'll help take some of the weight off. I wouldn't worry about bangs, they'll just create aggrevation. Also, highlights may be a suggestion. I have really thick brown hair and once I got highlights, it seemed to help. Maybe some caramel colored highlights around the face?

What is the best haircut for really thick wavy long hair on a oval face?

I am brunette oval-round face. I have tried many hairstyles and cuts. If you have a chubbier face stay away from short cuts, if its more slender, u can try a short cut, But i found my favorite to be around shoulder length, kinda layered, but choppy... Its a fun versatile hairstyle, I can straighten it, flip it out/in, and i found I can do so much more with it this way... I hope this helps you get an idea.

What is the best haircut for really thick wavy long hair on a oval face?

My daughter recently got her hair cut into a bob. She pulls the front back with headbands and lets the curls frame her face. It's really pretty. When her hair is pulled back, her hair is about at the height of her chin (actually just a tiny bit higher).

Good luck! :)

How can I control my hair. It is very thick, coarse, wiry, dry and curly.?

The hairdresser seems to be able to tame it so has anyone got the same problem, and can anyone recommend any products.

If I dry it with the hair dryer, I just have big hair and I look like the wild woman of Borneo, so I end up just tying it back. I have tried it very short but it just curls up in the wrong direction.

Any suggestions

How can I control my hair. It is very thick, coarse, wiry, dry and curly.?

I am also a fellow curly. I recently recieved a book for X-mas named Curly Girl. It has many good tips to keeping the "mop" under controll. Lots of "recipes" for conditioners and stuff. Good Luck!

Try a relaxent like the blacks do. It works for them.

How can I control my hair. It is very thick, coarse, wiry, dry and curly.?

Have the stylist thin it out for you. If not that then get it chemically relaxed.

How can I control my hair. It is very thick, coarse, wiry, dry and curly.?

Hey, the hairdressers can work miracles. I like frizz ease. Try that.

How can I control my hair. It is very thick, coarse, wiry, dry and curly.?

Use products such as John Frieda's Frizz-Ease Shampoo, conditioner and serum. Then blow-dry your hair on a barrel brush to make it sleeker and straihter. You can also use hair-straighteners, but they can damage your hair and straightening is time-consuming.

If you want to keep curls, John Frieda also does a range for curly hair!

How can I control my hair. It is very thick, coarse, wiry, dry and curly.?

I to have very coarse dry and curly hair. I have learned to deal with it but have learned a few things you can and cant do! I never brush my hair after i have washed it. I brush it after it is wet in the shower and then wash it and of course use conditioner. But then after that I towel dry it and put Proclaims glossing polish (which you can find at Sallys Beauty) on it and then blow dry it. If you brush your hair after you have washed or dryed it, it makes it very frizzy. My beautician can't believe how healthy my hair is and how I rarely have split ends. I sometimes use a very light hair gel on it, nothing too sticky or thick because it dries up and gives you flakes. And also remember as you are blow drying it to style it as you dry so then you don't have to move it around alot, the more you mess with it the dryer and frizzier it gets!!

How can I control my hair. It is very thick, coarse, wiry, dry and curly.?

hey pal, even i have very thick hair which is quite wavy, so if i ever let my hair down, ppl used to call me a ghost coz my face was barely seen, it was so thick, then i did hair straightening, it relaxed my hair and it looks half as thick, soft and silky straight, either go for rebonding for a poke straight look like the chinese or naturally straight look thru straightning, or if u dont want to go for these, just condition ur hair well always, the more its conditioned, the shaft will be relaxed and ur hair will look straight natuirally when relaxed......

How can I control my hair. It is very thick, coarse, wiry, dry and curly.?

I put put coconut oil on mine after I've washed it. My hair is really thick and unless i do this it goes really big! it's really cheap. 99p from super-drug. I couldn't live without it now!

How can I control my hair. It is very thick, coarse, wiry, dry and curly.?

.

How can I control my hair. It is very thick, coarse, wiry, dry and curly.?

Thick hair can be very difficult to manage by yourself but i guess there must be some tricks of the trade that hairdressers can pass on - try this forum, i came across it recently and it seems quite new but the people seems friendly and helpful, i'm sure someone will be able to give advice there http://www.snips.web.com/forum/Blah.pl

How can I control my hair. It is very thick, coarse, wiry, dry and curly.?

Here is what I do:

I wash my hair, then put Pantene conditioner in it (they make a type for Black hair, or similar hair types) and LEAVE it in. Then, I towel dry my hair for 30 mins., remove the towel and section my hair into two halves, combing each half out (from the bottom up). Then, once your hair is still damp and all combed out, put it up into a tight bun (though not too tight that your head hurts) and leave it overnight.

The next day, take your hair down (it should be a lot softer and workable now), section it into four parts, and make four "mini buns" - secure them into place. Now you're really ready to blow-dry your hair. Use a wide paddle brush to "straighten" each part out, and start drying from root to ends, keeping the blowdryer tilted down towards the ends (never blowdry your hair upwards).

Be patient - don't leave the dryer on one spot to burn your hair, but don't continuously run the dryer up and down your hair, or brush through your hair either, otherwise you'll generate frizz. Once the part is dry, run some hair oil (if you have Black-type hair) or serum through it, and blow dry again, root to tip. Once it's dry and straight to your satisfaction, clip the part away from the rest of your hair. Wait until each part you're working on is perfectly straight and dry before moving on to the next one.

You can follow through with a flat iron on each part if you wish. I do this every week, and it works!

What is the best solution to have thick and abundant hair?

To help you have thick and abundant hair....try not to use products that have too many chemicals in it and avoid usage of products that can clog your hair follicles...which will prevent your hair from growing "healthly" I personally suggest using this organic line called "Thin to Thick Hair Care" from Jason's Organics...you can find their products at www.jason-natural.com

Can you recommend a good hair straightener for really thick, out of control, frizzy hair?

go with ghd..many of my friends had chi's and they all ended up with fried hair and split ends, no matter what temperature they kept the iron

Can you recommend a good hair straightener for really thick, out of control, frizzy hair?

conair w/ terbo start.......you need to layer your hair((put some up and straighten the parts that are down)) so you can make it easier.

Can you recommend a good hair straightener for really thick, out of control, frizzy hair?

Well maybe your asking for the wrong thing. All straighteners are OK but you need to use a product that will keep the heat from damaging your hair. If you get a ceramic iron it will make your hair shine more. I highly recommend Chi irons, if you are going to use the product line.

If your not up for spending the money for a Chi iron. Try to get an iron that has more than 75% ceramic plates and still use the Chi products.(Matrix also makes a heat service line that's pretty good)

Does your hair grow back thick if you use hair removal cream?

It is a proven fact that it does not, if you use a depilatory, shave, or wax. Waxing is the only one that has proven to make the hair grow back less. But you have to keep the process going for at least 8 or 9 times depending on your hair growth cycle. If it did then why do you think bald guys haven't figured out if they use it on there heads there hair will grow back thicker :) It is only a myth.

Does your hair grow back thick if you use hair removal cream?

no normally the hair grows in less and less in time.

Does your hair grow back thick if you use hair removal cream?

No, it shouldn't. It will either grow the same or you will just have less hair w/ time.

Does your hair grow back thick if you use hair removal cream?

I used them for a while a long time ago and the hair grow back the same as it normally does. Waxing make hair grow less and less with time and so much thinner.

Does your hair grow back thick if you use hair removal cream?

no

What can i do with ULTRA THICK,ExTRA POOOFY, curly hair!?

What can i do with ULTRA THICK,ExTRA POOOFY, curly hair!?

You could go to the salon and get it straightened?

What can i do with ULTRA THICK,ExTRA POOOFY, curly hair!?

Invest in a smoothnig cream, and run it through your hair, it should get rid of some poof. You can buy them for really cheap, like less than five bucks.

What can i do with ULTRA THICK,ExTRA POOOFY, curly hair!?

what is wrong with having poofy hair?I wouldn't do a thing poofy hair will be a popular trend for hair this year.

What can i do with ULTRA THICK,ExTRA POOOFY, curly hair!?

I have really frizzy (poofy) hair too. I use an anti-frizz serum made by Pantene. It seems to work well and isn't too expensive (around $5 or $6). There are some shampoos too that help with frizz. A while back I used to use Infusium shampoo and leave-in conditioner. That works too. You can also use some mousse. Oh and what ever you do don't brush it when it's dry! Good luck.

What can i do with ULTRA THICK,ExTRA POOOFY, curly hair!?

Get a CHI straightner and straighten it becuz it REALLY het STRAIGHT!

What can i do with ULTRA THICK,ExTRA POOOFY, curly hair!?

I know how you feel, corioliss- the best straigtener in the world! Only takes 60 seconds to heat up, keeps your hair straight for 2 days, unless wetted. And it makes your hair straight, healthy, and shiny. hundred dollars, i bought it, and it's all worth it, it calms your hair down INSANLEY!!!!! It does work, but i dont know where you can get it, i got my at the mall and it was a one time thing only, but if you look it up on the internet, and there will be some results, probably!

What can i do with ULTRA THICK,ExTRA POOOFY, curly hair!?

you can use gel and then blow dry it.

What should i do about my curly thick coarse discusting hair?

i want it straight and smooth and manageable? how do i get this, because i just used this straightening conditioning chemicals... it did nothing. im pissed off! what should i do. the prduct says not to reaply this for 3 MONTHS!!!! can i use another straighening chemicals???

What should i do about my curly thick coarse discusting hair?

OKAY DONT GET IT CHEMICALLY STRAIGTEND!!

Week one

1.get a trim.

2.warm up some olive oil and put in hair with a shower cap and sleep in it.[extra virgin olive oil is the best]

3.when you wake up wash it out dont use a lot of shampoo though and use kinda a lot of conditioner leave in for 5minutes then wash out.[good shampoo and conditioner is shampoo:Instant Moisture Daily Shampoo by Paul Mitchell and conditioner Instant Moisture Daily Treatment by Paul Mitchell]

4.towel dry a little bit and put in some protein leave in condition I'll tell you the best thing in the world is [Extreme Anti Snap-Redken]

It has all the proteins you need for your hair. Then while your hair is still damp put in some serum so your hair doesnt get huge since your not blow drying it.The best serum to put in is [Super Skinny Serum-Paul Mitchell]

5.let your hair air dry.when its done put some thermal protection i reccomend using a serum that has heat protection like [Smooth Down Heat Glide-Redken]

6.Get a good ceramic straightener thats ceramic and do not use conair,or the wet 2 dry ones.Chi is the best but its very expencive but find a good one at a salon that costs 60$ so your not spending too much.[Bedheads flat iron works good]

7.when your done straightening it put some Sunsilk Hydra TLC 24/7 creme in your hair and then put some gloss drops in your hair by Paul Mitchell.

What should i do about my curly thick coarse discusting hair?

i would say to jus keep it the way it is. The outcome of guys who straighten their hair doesnt look so good if it already was curly. Cut it some... idk....

What should i do about my curly thick coarse discusting hair?

Go to a local salon and get a perm. That's the only thing I can think of. Or try and find a local beauty supply shop (ie. Sallys.com) and ask some of the employees to recommend a good product for your hair.

What should i do about my curly thick coarse discusting hair?

why not just buy a straightener

What should i do about my curly thick coarse discusting hair?

NO!! if u mix chemicals from diff. products the outcome may be bad....if any thing wait a few days for the chemicals to set put in frizz control use a flat iron then use some serum for fly aways

What should i do about my curly thick coarse discusting hair?

I know how you feel. I have the same hair. I tried all the chemicals and all it did was kill my hair. You could try De-Frizz shampoos and go to a stylist and ask for help. I guess my mom had worse hair then mine (which is horrible) and she said that right after she had my older sister her hair became softer and straighter..something with the hormones. I guess all we cn do is live with it..or keep killing our hair with chemicals that don't do crap.

Luckily I'm 8 months along with mine so hopefully I'll be lucky and my hair will change.

What should i do about my curly thick coarse discusting hair?

You are what you are. Shave your head and get a really nice expensive wig. No one will be able to tell and you will look so ravishingly beautiful. Gorgeous even!

True Story:

I dated a girl years ago who had that hair, and they called her Brillo head. She spent hundreds of dollars over just a few years trying to get her hair to look good. I spent $700 on a real hair wig and she loved it and looked great. Plus she never spent another dime on all the hair treatment stuff again. You will spend all that and more on treatments and still you will never be really happy. You hair will follow you throughout the years, everywhere you go. Check it out, you might be surprised. I'm just offering my advice and hoping to help you out.

What should i do about my curly thick coarse discusting hair?

Which straightener did you use and how long did you leave it on? I've had good results with the Ogilvie straightener from Wal Mart (or a drug store) but my hair is so coarse that I've left it on over an hour, even tho the directions say no more than 25 minutes. Maybe you didn't leave it on long enough?? Also, the temporary straighteners do zero for my hair. The best bet is use an extra hold mousse and go with the curls. It gets rid of all the frizz, hold your hair down from poofing and makes it softer and shinier looking. Then blow dry with a diffuser or air dry. Gels work Ok too but they make your hair take a long time to dry. Oh! FX Special Effects "Curls Up" works awesome on ends to keep them shiny and full of vitamins so they won't split. It's in a tall shaped golden bottle. I've always found the serums to just leave a layer of grease on top of the frizz.

garnier fructis mousse honey. That stuff works! Take a shower in the morning, roll your hair in a towel on your head, dry for like a minute, then add mousse, put towel back if its not dry, then staighten (NOT YOUR BANGS!) the hair thats right above your fore head, like literally an inch at the most, 1/2 inch maybe... start from your forehead-go towards your ears, the surrounding part of your head, I did this, its gorgeous. After washing and conditioning your hair, section it in 1 inch sqares and twist each section. Put a light gel on it when you are done, just a little. See this picture for your example: http://www.naani.com/index.html?lang=en-...

after school, run your finger through each section and separate the twisted strands. This will give you wavy ringlets that are NOT frizzy. I am african american with typical course hair and it works for me.

HELP PLEASE! I have long, thick, VERY FRIZZY, curly hair, any hairstyling tips?

You are in luck i luv giving out hairstyle tips. Ok here is wat you can do if you have bangs,

STEP1: Flip your hair a little to the left side of your hair (like the line in your hair in the middle)

STEP2:On your right side of your head put your hair behind your ear and pin it there.Do the same to your right.

STEP3:Bring your cangs over to the left side of your face and gently apply a spray. Now you have a hairstyle of Kristin Cavsllari

Also you can...

STEP1:Grab your hair so it looks like a ponytail but down low.

STEP2:twist it a copule of times and put it up straight then apply a octopus clip and puff the top prart a little bit. Now you are done

Also you can...

STEP1:Grab a littel part of your hair in the front and clip it above your ear do for both. Now you are done easy as 123.

you can do anyone of these

Curly/ Wavy, dry, thick and extremely frizzy hair! Please help!!!?

Ever since I was little, my hair has been... a mess. But i remember not being as frizzy or dry. My hair is a cross between wavy and curly. I recently got a perm but it of course isn't straight when it's wet. I want to grow my hair out so everytime i swim, it doesn't look like a complete mess. I'm tired of blow drying and straightening for hours after everytime I wash my hair. I want to wear it natural... Any ideas?

(oh by the way i use Garnier Fructis shampoo and conditioner, leave in conditioner, and shining/ anti-frizz serum... it doesn't really help, only when I straighten my hair)

Curly/ Wavy, dry, thick and extremely frizzy hair! Please help!!!?

- Read the book and visit the sites below about curly hair. I did and my once horrible curly hair is now virtually frizz-free ringlets. Now I get compliments on my hair all the time! Straighten your hair- be happy for a day, learn to manage your curly hair- be happy for life!

- To style your hair using the curly-girl method you will need gel and conditioner at the minimum. Some less useful, but still nice stuff would be a blowdryer, a diffuser (reduces frizz in curly/wavy hair when used with dryer), and a microfiber hair turban (to dry wet hair while sleeping or in the morning).

-The main philosophy of the curly-girl method is to not use shampoo. This may sound unhygenic but it has actually made my hair less oily and dandruffy. Most shampoos contain some of the same chemicals found in laundry detergent (aka sulfates). They dry out curly hair. Also you shouldn't brush your curly hair dry because it damages the hair and makes it poof.

- Massaging of the scalp with conditioner to remove dirt is all that is needed. It will clean everything but super clingy silicones. Then rinse and spread conditioner on the outside layer of hair and the hair at the nape of your neck. Gently comb tangles out with your fingers or a wide toothed comb and rinse with cold/cool water.

-Do not brush/comb your hair after this point because it wil disturb the curl pattern (make sure you already have a part). It is also important to use gel on sopping wet hair and scrunch the hair. Then let your hair air dry or wait ten minutes and then use a blowdryer with a diffuser. Do not touch the hair while it is air drying or it will frizz!

- Use a moisturizing conditioner, such as Desert Essence Organics Italian Red Grape Conditioner (found at health food/organic stores). The combo of products that I use daily is Garnier Fuctis Sleek and Shine Leave In Cream, then Aussie Tizz No Frizz Gel, and then Herbal Essences Set Me Up Gel but there are more conditioners, gels, etc. on the websites.

- Your hair may seem worse at first, but it is just adjusting. This takes 2 to 4 weeks begin working. This is hard to do if you don't read the book, or at least visit the websites. Naturally curly hair can be beautiful! Hope this helps!

Curly/ Wavy, dry, thick and extremely frizzy hair! Please help!!!?

my friend has hair like that, it was a mess in highschool and she'd spend almost 2hrs everday trying to straighten and it still never looked very good. NEways she started using that catwalk stuff it's called curls rock. She uses the shampoo conditioner and mousse stuff and it works really good now. People compliment her all the time. Here's a link so you can see what it looks like, but I thnk you can buy it at almost any beauty salon. Oh and it smells really good too. :)

Curly/ Wavy, dry, thick and extremely frizzy hair! Please help!!!?

use frizz ease (john frieda product) worked 4 me

Curly/ Wavy, dry, thick and extremely frizzy hair! Please help!!!?

When you dry your hair dont shake it in a towel, or twist it in a towel. just blot it until the majoirty of the water is gone. When you shake it or rub it it increases friction which makes hair frizzy. Also try having a shower every second day, or washing your hair only on second days. Washing your hair everyday will take away the natural oils in your hair making it look dry and brittle. Also about brittle your hair is it's weakest when it is wet, so while it is drying don't brush it witha brush. Either with a wide tooth comb, or rake with your fingers. Lastly putting in a light conditioner if your hair is thin, or a Heavy or whatever you perfer when your hair is damp, or even spray abit when it is dry to hold down flyaways and calm down frizz. Well, I wrote alot so I hope it helps.

Curly/ Wavy, dry, thick and extremely frizzy hair! Please help!!!?

My hair is sorta like that, only mine's way curly-tressemme products for curly hair do an amazing job

Curly/ Wavy, dry, thick and extremely frizzy hair! Please help!!!?

My hair is kind of like that, except for the frizzy part, just do what I do: use this really good condintionr sstay in thing u can find at a salon something Paul or the other way aroung just ask foe it and try a small bottle first then a big ine if u like it. Ok, after u get out of the shower put a lot of it on and then comb it with first your best brush and then your best comb. After u get the nots out and straighten it, (i din't do this cause i don't have to but) Blow dry it and use hair spary, maybe.

Good Luck!

Curly/ Wavy, dry, thick and extremely frizzy hair! Please help!!!?

You have to wait till the perm wares out, if you want to have straight hair just straighten it, i think its worth it.

Curly/ Wavy, dry, thick and extremely frizzy hair! Please help!!!?

Oh honey - I know your pain. I've got thick and curly hair and know what it's like!

Some tips -

1. Don't wash your hair often (sounds gross, I know - but it works) your hair is designed to go without washing because it needs the natural oils. I only wash my hair 1 -2 times a week and it never smells or looks oily. You can wear a shower cap and shower, that's fine, just don't wash it.

2. Get a good and simple cut! Longer works better because it weighs it down (but not too long) while layers give it depth and style.

3. Wear a sleep cap. Lame, I know, but I bought a sleep cap (right beside the shower caps) and it keeps your hair from rubbing against the pillow at night and turning frizzy.

4. I'm not sure what your ethnicity is, but, treat your hair as if it were African-American hair. I had a hairstylist and this was the best piece of advice she gave me - use cholesterol for your hair ect...try some African-American hair products because they're made for ultra-dry hair!

5. Shampoo and Conditioner? My favorite are the John Frieda Curl shampoo %26amp; conditioner (should be beside all the other John Frieda stuff), not too expensive, and works wonders!

6. Post-shower, try a little leave-in conditioner or green sunsilk. It'll give your hair a chance to air-dry and take its natural shape, but keep the curls contained and sleek.

Remember, if you work *with* the curl, the frizz should be reduced.

Curly/ Wavy, dry, thick and extremely frizzy hair! Please help!!!?

to keep your hair from sweating out so much part your hair and put cornstarch in between the parts it will keep it straighter longer!!!

Curly/ Wavy, dry, thick and extremely frizzy hair! Please help!!!?

My hair is the same way. I keep it long or shoulder length because I think it looks better. Instead of fighting the curl I just go with it. It makes it much easier on me. I use Matrix fortifying shampoo and they make a real heavy conditioner that comes in a tub. I can't remember the name, but it is great! When styling I use a light gel to kind of weigh my hair down and then I use Loreal springing curls mouse! I have not found anything that works better. Then I blow dry or just let air dry and I am done in less than 10 min. Also make sure you keep up with your haircuts...mine gets extra frizzy if I go without a hair cut.

How do you deal with thick, coarse, wavy, damaged hair?

My hair right now is a mess. It is about shoulder length. It is very damaged from several curl perms, straightening perms, coloring, highlights, and weather, in my lifetime. I don't know how to bring it back to life!! It has never been all that great hair, but after I started putting in the chemicals, my hair really deteriorated. Right now, it is curly from a perm a few months ago. It is very damaged and rough. I have a lot of frizz. I try to use moisturizers, but they only go so far. Does anyone know of any method, remedy, or product, that could save my hair?

How do you deal with thick, coarse, wavy, damaged hair?

Shave it and start over

How do you deal with thick, coarse, wavy, damaged hair?

Well here's what I did when I had that problem--I found Nexxus Therappe shampoo and there's a conditioner (Humectress) that goes with it (I found it recently as a gift boxed set at Walmart). I used it exclusively and my hair became hair again. My friend color processes her hair and used the flat iron and so I sent her this gift set and she too has said her hair feels like hair again. It really does work and it's not overly/ungodly expensive.

How do you deal with thick, coarse, wavy, damaged hair?

You are going to have to cut it off. You might not have to cut it all of, depending on how bad the condition is. I had to cut of all of my hair, then I did the natural thing for about 6 months, next I finally permed it and it came out gorgeous. You may even like the short cut. I loved it while it was there but I wanted my hair back.

How do you deal with thick, coarse, wavy, damaged hair?

hey. i have coarse frizzy curly hair. anyway, this is what i would suggest you use:

-infusium 23 products, shampoo, conditioner, leave in conditioner, they're really good products and they're easy to find and cheap too.

-tresemme shampoo works really well too for making hair healthy and again, it's cheap

i'd say to use those products and let your hair grow out without doing anything else to it. your normal hair is in there, you just have to stop putting chemicals in it and wait till it grows out. as soon as it starts growing out go get a hair cut and get your ends cut so you can get rid of the dead hair.

if you straighten your hair, don't use a flat iron for your entire hair. blow dry it first, and then use the flat iron, that way you don't fry it so much. make sure you always put on heat protection serums or leave in conditioner.

i have really frizzy coarse curly hair but i take care of it and i always get compliments on it especially when i straighten it. it always feels kind of funny cause when i get compliments i always think of how frizzy my hair really is if i don't take care of it. it's like a big curly fro. and i'm hispanic. anyway that's all.

hope that helps!

How do you deal with thick, coarse, wavy, damaged hair?

You don't have to cut it off, but you do have to start over. And NO more chemicals!

You may need to weave it until your new hair grows in. If you like urban styles, you could get braids. They REALLY help the hair grow out. And you're not combing or tugging or heating it up every day. (It was easier for me to keep my damaged hair, and let it grow out. That way I could see it growing from the roots and when all my color had grew out, and all the split ends were gone, I knew i had all new healthy hair.) One day all your damaged hair will just be at the vey ends and you will know you are almost there.

You HAVE to trim your ends because damaged/split ends won't hold a curl or straight iron or style. Even-ing them off with a trim will help styling until it all grows out. And lots of hot oil treatments. My hair loves them! (Also, you may want to try products with silicone in them.)

How do you deal with thick, coarse, wavy, damaged hair?

Try using creme of nature shampoo and conditioner. Every other wash a Pantene clarifying shampoo followed by creme of nature conditioner. It really works. I had the same problem because I was not restoring moisture back into my hair. Also, make sure you're drinking plenty of water on a daily basis as water replenish moisture to your entire body including your hair and nails. Put life back into your hair.

How do you deal with thick, coarse, wavy, damaged hair?

you go to a (NICE) salon and you get it cut and prettied up lol!

How do you deal with thick, coarse, wavy, damaged hair?

No more chemicals. Go to walmart/target whereever and buy the WEt2Dry straightener(works good, actualy doesl ess damage than a blowdryerwill do to your hair), heat protector spray, deep conditioner(Aussie 3 minute miracle really is a miracle), and some frizz serum. And have fun! lol

Does anyone know how to make thick and curly hair grow long faster?

Does anyone know how to make thick and curly hair grow long faster?

A lot of my friends swear by prenatal vitamins and avoid soy products (they made my hair fall out). If you ask your doctor to prescribe prenatal vitamins for you - the ones on the Wal-Mart $4 list of drugs they sell; then you can get them a lot cheaper then regular retail prices.

Does anyone know how to make thick and curly hair grow long faster?

just take care of it wash it come it grease it though do not put any perms and thing s in it and it will grow faster.

Does anyone know how to make thick and curly hair grow long faster?

Does anyone know how to make thick and curly hair grow long faster?

What should u do if you have very thick wavy frizzy hair %26amp; want it 2 b straight %26amp; sleek w/o straightening it?

i have hair like that....and to make it straight u basically have to straighten it...but u can make it less frizzy and bring out your natural curls w/ some anti freeze cream it works really well for me

What should u do if you have very thick wavy frizzy hair %26amp; want it 2 b straight %26amp; sleek w/o straightening it?

ok dont listen to orca cause is you use those products ur hair would be very dry ......... you could try a relaxer but im not to sure if it would help but that what my mom said shes does hair for a living but im not to sure i would have to see your hair

What should u do if you have very thick wavy frizzy hair %26amp; want it 2 b straight %26amp; sleek w/o straightening it?

First get a thermal, straightning and protecting hair lotion for when you hair is wet. Part your hair in sections and then dry them with a boar bristle. after, you can do the same thing, but put in a thermal protecting spray, and if you want to, you can straighten it. After all the steps are finished, put a finishing product in it.

Tea Tree Special Shampoo from Paul Mitchell its not to expensive but if you want a good shampoo that actually works try it. Its a medicated product so you will feel it work but leave it in your hair long enough till you feel the cool refreshing feeling. I wouldn't recommend that people use it everyday but you say your hair is really oily. I'm recommending you use it everyday and don't use conditioner all that's going to do is oil it up more, and if you do apply it only to the ends of your hair NOT the scalp.

Well, everybody wants thick hair, and I have thick hair and I love it! It seems like you always have body to it. And as for hairstyles, I like layers b/c it frames your face really nice and isn't as boring as a regular plain cut. And highlights look good in layers.

Most guys dig long thick hair, I think. Though hairstyles should complement the shape of the face.
