And I dunoo...I have a perm and I am african american.

When I look at most of the other girls in my school, there hair is super pretty and thin. Any ideas to tell my hair stylist what to do to make it thinner please help me!

You know I am always jealous of the girls who have thick hair. Maybe your hair is prettier than you think. I suggest looking in magazines and the web for hair styles that you like and show your hair stylist to see if they think that look would suit you. (if you must)

you can get your hair thinned. I have done it for mine before. Just ask her if she can thin it and she should take scissors and just push them along your hair like you would a brush and the hair will come off of the top layer. This sounds really weird but it works and it doesn't make your hair uneven or anything. They will probably use special scissors for it though. I have had it done but a couple times when I have gone different places, they didn't know what it was.

Dont get your hair thinned. The thinning shears will tear your hair up but if you do get it thinned make sure that they only thin the bottom layer and only on the ends of the hair, but I suggest you get it relaxed that should make it a little more manageable for you. Just a thought
