My Hair is really thick and blow drying doesn't work to make it straight can you help???

Nowadays you can get reverse perms. They use the same sorts of chemicals but have the opposite effect. They straighten your hair.

Ask your hairdresser about it.

blow dry in small sections until TOTALLY dry! I have this problem too, and just had to do smaller sections. Then use a straightner, and in similarily small sections straighten it, letting each section TOTALLY cool (brush it tightly) before moving on to the next section. Good luck, also john frieda products are the best I've found, but don't bother with the shampoo/conditioner, just the gels/waxes.

Hey I've had the same problem meself. Remedy get a good hairdresser to show you how! She does small sections at a time then applies a plant derived oil to the ends and it looks great. My hair is naturally frizzy so its a buzz when she does this cos it stays straight as a dye until I wash it.

Try using a metal round brush, It will heat up, so the hair forms to it kind of like a curling iron. Then I would suggest using a flat iron. Make sure it is a ceramic one. Good luck!!

OK after you get out off the shower towel-dry your hair and use like heat activated straightening cream ( i think loreal makes a really good one) then blow-dry. after that use a straightener with lots of heat power. that should keep it straight for a day or two but if you want long-term just go to a salon and get it chemically straightened

I have really think hair and have the same problem. I blast it dry with hairdryer then use my GHD straighteners. They are a great investment. Trust me!

Firsly invest in some ghd straightners! when you have just washed your hair apply john frieda frizz ease serum to your hair, blast off with hair dryer till your hair is just slightly damp, next section off your hair and starting with an inch wide section of hair from the back of your head use the ghd straightners, from root to tip, continue this method all the way around your head and gradually work your way up, finish with some more frizz ease to smooth. By the way you also need alot of patience as it is a lenghty process!!! hope this helps.
