It would if you straighten your hair and can get it almost stick straight. My hair is thick and wavy and I've had side-swept bangs for about a year. They look great and actually a little better than other girls' I've seen because it's a little thicker.

So...without actually seeing your hair I can't say "Yea, go for it!" I'd advise you to talk with your stylist and see what she says.

I also have thick curly hair. I have side swept bangs and I like them, but you have to style your hair otherwise it looks weird and if you do go ahead with it make sure they dont get cut too short.

Oh no! Don't even try! it would look as ugly as red - butted baboon. I prefer you get your hair straigtened then get side-swept bangs.

I have Thick Curly red/brown hair. I have had bangs many times and my face is just not the best for the side swept look at all. So it would not be a bad idea to take a bit of your hair now and get it to go how you would want it to if it was cut. You can still get the look with long hair you just need lots of bobby pins and clips that will hide easy in your hair. The last link is great for your face shape and what you should and shouldn't do with your hair.

I Have the same exact hair what i do is i moose my hair when its wet and put hairspray but leave the bangs out the take a straighting iron and straighten it to the right
