I've heard that some women are gossed out by it, but my last girlfriend was really into it. After making love, we'd lay there for hours as she's run her thin, nimble fingers through my luxurious black back hair. One day she even braided it into cornrows for me. It was really sweet.

That is ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY DISGUSTING. Shave it NOW or you will be single for a long, long time. I don't know who your girlfriend was but trust me she was one in 20 MILLION because 99.9 percent of women are completely disgusted by back hair. SHAVE IT! Also it doesn't look very good if you're at the pool. Even if your lady likes it it may make others uncomfortable. Sorry for being so harsh, It's really up to you as to what happens with your back hair.
